The Wedding Planner

Chapter 2

"What? Wait wait, please explain this slowly Chorong" said Bomi. "Yeah, we don't understand a single thing you're saying" said Sungjae.

I was in my office explaining the wedding thing I found out about. "Okay, Park Jimin as my high school crush for four years and when I was in college, I never saw him again. Now, here I am planning his arranged marriage and he almost recognized me!" I said then dropped my head on my desk.

"You had a crush on Park Jimin in high school? And here I thought your only focus was on books" said Bomi with a scoff. I looked up from my desk and glared at her then she sat straight and said "not that I cared".

"Wait, Chorong-ssi, what's the problem? You said you liked him in high school so what's up now?" asked Sungjae "do you still like him now?". I sighed "there was never closure, we were friends back in high school, so maybe... yeah" I said.

"Man, we should've found this guy earlier so Chorong would have a boy friend now" said Bomi with a tsk. "Whatever, I should just plan the wedding so I can get over it when they get married" I said and stared at the list. "I suddenly hate my job" I said then Bomi raised an eyebrow.

"I can't believe she just said that, this problem must be very big to her for her to say that" said Bomi. "Yeah, she always enjoyed planning weddings" said Sungjae. "This is the biggest problem I've ever encountered in my entire life" I said and continued staring at the list. "Okay, you two may go back to what you were doing before" I said then they left my desk and just went a bit further.

The first thing on the list were the flower decorations. It said Roses, well technically, most of the things written on the list were rose related so the theme said : rose wedding. That's kind of odd, no one's asked for a rose wedding before because they have thorns and roses for the bouquet? That'll hurt, I guess I have to removed the thorns then.

I dialed the flower shop I always go to when planning a wedding. "Hey? Ilhoon? I got another wedding to plan" I said. "Another wedding? Well, what flowers do you need?" he asked. "I need roses, lot's of them for the rose themed wedding" I said. "What? That's a lot of roses you need. When's the wedding?" he asked. "A month from now" I answered. "Okay, got it, they'll be there the day before the wedding" he said. "Thanks Ilhoon, see ya" I said then hung up.

This is why I'm good at getting things ready early for weddings, I'm friends with all of the providers. I thought of ways to help their business then I thought a wedding planner would be it. Roses, check now I need the reception place.

For reception places, I call a specific person to look for the place. I dialed the number again "Hello? Yeah, Eunkwang-ah, I need large reception place good enough for 70-100 people with this as the budget" I said. "When's the wedding?" he asked. "A month from now" I answered then he said "I'll show you two to three places next week". "Thanks Eunkwang" I said then hung up. Reception, check.

I need the guest list, but I'll get that when I get the bridesmaid and the groomsmen list.

I smirked as I stared at the list, it was quite simple. They wanted a big wedding, and the budget given is easy to handle. This is going to be quite fun but with Jimin around will get me distracted. I think I had a panic attack when I saw him. He changed, Naeun said he's hot headed, but in high school, he was a very kind person to everyone, but then again, that was 5 years ago, people can change within that time.

I sighed and continued to call every person I knew for everything there. Catering? I know just the person. I dialed the number and he picked up. "Jin? It's me Chorong" I said. "Oh hey Cho, how are you? It's been years!" he said. "I'm fine but besides that, I heard you're a master chef now for a huge successful restaurant, could you do me a favor?" I asked then told him about the me planning a wedding thing.
