Chapter Three: New friend

ZIA'S POV

Finally the school day has ended and tomorrow is a weekend! I'm on my way home then a car suddenly honked behind me.

Startled, I screamed! "Holy mother of macaroons!" Yeah, I know. Lame way to curse right?😏 Anyway, back to the story.

A man came out laughing his ass off. Turns out it was my one and only dumbass brother, Jimin.

"Yah! Are you really startled by a honk?!" He said, while still laughing.

"Jimin Oppa, you know I love you right? But you're kind of an ass sometimes!" I fumed.

"Alright I'm sorry okay? I just wanted to give you a ride home since I already saw you coming out from school. So, you want a lift?" he smiled mischievously.

"Kure~ And try to do that again next time oppa, I'll surely hit you!" I replied, hiding the smile.

This is how the two of us argue. We can never stay mad at each other even if one does a prank or something bad. I guess we have a healthy relationship as siblings.

~Time Skip~

"Mom, we're home!" I shouted.

"Good timing! I'm at the kitchen, come and let's eat dinner!" she shouted back.

I've never really introduced to you my mom. Well, as you can see, she has this strong personality that makes everyone follow her orders immediately. She has her ways, if you know what I mean~😏😁 Though she's like that, she is kind and caring. She acts like she is the same as our age, that's why we are comfortable to talk with her with everything because she understands completely. BUT, try disrespecting her or us, her family, you'll never see the light of day... 'Run for you life' are the exact words that explains what would happen next.

If you're asking where my father is, well he's still in the U.S.A. He goes home rarely because he's busy at work and because he has to earn double ever since we moved here in Seoul, Korea. But he never neglects his family. Even if he is far, he made sure that from time to time we talked through video calls.

Both our parents are awesome. They have completely different personalities, because Dad is the silent guy but has a very kind personality, while Mom kinda acts like a mafia wife once she's angry.😂😂😂

Enough of that. Now, where's the food?!!! Mian. I feel hungry already~😁

Arriving at the dining table, I saw different dishes plated well like there's some sort of feast.

"Wahhh daebak! What's with tonight's dinner? Shit! Did I forgot someone's birthday today???😱😱😱"

Suddenly, Jimin Oppa hit the back of my head.

"PABO! *Smack* Are you for real right now Zia?!" He said.

"Shittttueeeee! I did forgot, didn't I?!?" I said panicking.

"Ani~~ Jinjja! You're weird at times, you know that? I just invited my new friend for dinner! Tsk tsk~" he said, while shaking his head at me.

"Then why didn't you say so! I panicked for nothing!" I said, baffled.

"Because you just concluded without hearing us out! Aigoo~" Oppa replied.

"Shut it you two! The guest might arrive soon and both of you are busy arguing with each other! Get changed and get back down here immediately!" Mom shouted.

"Ne~~" Oppa and I said cutely.

"Good thing you two are cute, or I swear to God I'll hit your coconut heads!" Mom added jokingly.

Both of us raced to the stairs; pushing each other like a bunch of kids. When we arrived in front of our rooms, I immediately turned and asked Oppa, "Wait, who's your friend that we're talking about again?"

Almost entering his room across from mine, he answered cheerfully while scratching the back of his neck, "Oh! I forgot to tell you, did I? It's our new neighbor!"

Suddenly the doorbell rang.

"I think he's here! Zia, kindly open up the door for me would you? I think I need to take a quick shower because I smell weird already! Okay? Thank you!" He added.

"BUT- Ughhhh!! Damn it Oppa!" I said, irritated but obeyed what he ordered me to do.

I quickly ran downstairs and I suddenly remember something.

"Wait, did he said 'HE'?!?! AND I CAN'T TALK WITH NEW PEOPLE! AISHHHH JINJJA!" I muttered.

Calming myself, I slowly opened the door only to meet eyes with a boy who has a cute bunny smile.

"Oh, Hello neighbor! We finally meet! My name's Jungkook!" He said smiling.

OH LORD, TAKE ME NOWWW!!!😳😭😭😭😵
