Chapter Nine: The Encounter (part 3)

JUNGKOOK'S POV

While waiting for Jiminie hyung and for Zia to arrive, we are frantically running around Jin hyung's house to make sure that everything are perfect for the surprise.

The ringing of the doorbell was heard as well as Jin hyung shouting that they've arrived. That was our cue, so we immediately turned off the lights and positioned ourselves in the living room.

Occupied by my own thoughts, I still can't believe she came. I feel nervous all over hoping that she'll be able to enjoy herself to night.

Snapping out of my reverie, I can hear footsteps approaching. We counted up until three then jumped out of our places and shouted "SURPRISE!!"

I saw that she got scared and hid behind her brother but Jiminie hyung looked at her, eyes filled with meaning as if encouraging her to do something. She nodded at him in return.

She bowed stiffly and took a deep breath while gathering all courage to speak.

"A-Annyeonghaseyo n-naneun Zia imnida." she said slowly, stumbling with her words.

I stood frozen on the spot as soon as I heard her voice.

This isn't the Zia I've met at dinner... She was trying her best to be friends with us. Even if she smiled her stoic smile she still looked...

...shy but cute, beautiful, gorgeous, stunning.

Aish~ I sounded like a lovestruck teenage boy. Shit! Jimin hyung will kill me if he knew about this.😱

But I can't help it, just seeing her standing there with her flowy dress and wearing a bit of make up, made me have butterflies erupting in stomach. I can't even stop the blush that was spreading from my cheeks...😳

Zia just what are you doing to me...😩

YOONGI'S POV
(Surprise!!😁 you didn't expect our 'sugar' to be in the love triangle, right? -Author nim)

Waiting for the siblings to arrive I tried my best to keep awake. Of course I wouldn't blow this surprise up or else I'll lose my swag! (really yoongi? 😒😆 -Author nim) And I was also curious to see the said sister, that is why I'd like to help around in preparing for the surprise.

Then suddenly the cue was up, Jin hyung already shouted that they're here. I hid behind the couch lying down, oh how good it felt to just lie on this carpeted floor. I miss my bed, wait for me love!😘

Snapping out of it, I jumped together with the members and shouted: "SURPRISE!!"

What I saw was more inviting than my bed. Standing in front of me is an angel, slightly startled but still gorgeous, hiding behind Jimin. 'HOLY FUCK IS THAT HER?!?' I said in my mind. 'HOW COULD THAT PABO HIDE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AS HIS SISTER, LUCKY BASTARD!' still speaking to myself in my mind.

My cheeks began to be in a darker shade of red. I can't stop staring at her, she looked so beautiful. 'How could someone like her experience such a dreadful past?' I thought. My heart clenched in pain just thinking of what Jimin shared to us a few days ago.

Something in me makes me want to protect her, take care of her, tell her how beautiful she is, make her laugh and many more things that can make her happy. It sounds cheesy, but I sure do want that to happen.

"A-Annyeonghaseyo n-naneun Zia imnida." she said slowly, stumbling with her words.

Her voice is music to my ears. From then and there I knew what I have to do, and that is to make her smile brighter than what she did right now. Jiminie I'm sorry for this but I would like to pursue your sister, just you wait and I would make her feel like a princess... No. MY QUEEN, to be exact. Nice to meet you, Zia~😍

So how was it? Were you expecting yoongi as jungkook's rival? Maybe or maybe not. But this is just something to spice up the story, there's more to come in the future chapters. But for now bye!
