Your POV:

The last couple school days have been normal since the dinner with Grayson and Natalie. Grayson drops off and picks up Natalie just like the rest of the parents. Don't get me wrong he'll flash me a smile every once in a while but it's nothing much.

I at least expected him to talk to me ever once in a while like he used to. Was the date bad? Did he lie when he told me he wanted to go out again?

I just need to stop thinking about it. I crawled out of bed and walked across my room to the bathroom and turnt the shower on. I undressed myself and stepped into the now warm water that will eventually fog up the mirror.

I grabbed the shampoo bottle and started a normal showing.

Once I was done with my shower I stepped out onto the mat outside the tub and wrapped my towel around me.

I grabbed my toothbrush applied toothpaste and began to brush my teeth as I walked out of the bathroom checking my phone for the time.6:45. I still had plenty of time.

I rinsed my mouth of the toothpaste and grabbed my hair dryer. I ran my brush through my hair as I dried it so it'd dry straight because I actually felt like wearing my hair down today.

Once my hair was dry and straight I walked out of the bathroom through my bedroom to my closet. I grabbed a normal outfit a black pencil skirt with a blue blouse.

I slipped on my outfit and grabbed my black heels to go with. Usually I wear flats but apart of me wanted Grayson's attention. Who am I kidding? I was doing all of this for Grayson.

I still had plenty of time so I felt like doing my makeup which is something I don't usually do a whole lot of for work.

I kept it simple with foundation, concealer, and a natural eye. I didn't really want Grayson to think I was trying too hard. If he even takes the time to notice me.

Grayson's POV:

As I was fixing Natalie's breakfast I couldn't help but think about my daughters wonderful teacher. I wasn't lying when I told her I'd like to see her outside of school again.

I don't know how to approach her. How do I ask her? This time I don't want Natalie to go. I love Natalie but I just want to get to know (y/n).

I was snapped out of my thoughts as Natalie came running down the stairs and into the kitchen. I smiled at her reaction to me making pancakes this morning. They were her favorite.

She sat down at the kitchen table as I put her plate together. I sat down her food as I looked at the time. "We have to kind of eat quick sweetie. We don't want you to be late." I said as I realized how late it actually was.

Once we were done eating I put the dishes in the sink and then helped Natalie gather all of her things for school. "You ready?" I asked her as she slipped her backpack on.

She smiled and nodded as I opened the door.

I fastened her into her seat as she told me about what (y/n) told the class they were gonna do today.

She talked about how excited she was for school the whole way there causing me to smile. She always got so excited over the littlest of things.

Your POV:

The school day was coming to a close as the parents picked up their kids. Today was a good day. All the kids seemed to enjoy my lesson over small two or three letter words.

Natalie was already so smart. She can spell and read little words already. She also learnt the alphabet the quickest in the class.

Of course Natalie was one of the last student's in the class waiting for her dad to come pick her up but I didn't mind because that meant Grayson would have plenty of time to talk to me.

Grayson finally walked in. He apologized to both me and Natalie. Natalie was upset with him causing me to chuckle but once he promised her they could have pizza for dinner she forgave him.

"That was easy." I said chuckling.

Grayson chuckled "she loves me too much. We'll see you tomorrow." He said walking out. Natalie waved at me goodbye as Grayson carried her out.

I sat on one of the tables and sighed. The date was bad. I knew he wouldn't ever like me. He's way too attractive for me.

I grabbed my purse and locked up quicker than usual and made my way out tinny car.

Grayson's POV:

"Miss (y/l/n)'s hair looked really pretty today." Natalie said as I fastened her in.

I smiled "yes it did." As I shut Natalie's door and walked around the car I saw (y/n) walking out of the building. Natalie was right her hair did look pretty. She looked pretty.

I leaned into the car and looked at Natalie "Hey daddy forgot something I'll be right back ok." I said quickly and she nodded. I shut my door and locked the car and ran towards (y/n) as she was approaching her car.

I slowed as I approached her and she looked confused. "Hey uh the other night was great and I was wondering if I could have your cell number to get ahold of you for next time." I said running my fingers through my hair.

She smiled at me and held her hand out and I quickly reached in my pocket and handed her my phone after I unlocked it.

She pushed her hair behind her ear and typed in her number. She smiled at me once she was done and handed my phone back.

"You know Natalie likes your hair today." I said smiling.

She laughed "well tell her I said thank you."

"I'll uh text you sometime." I said as I walked toward Natalie and my car. She smiled and waved goodbye and I smiled from ear to ear all the way to my car.

I unlocked the car and jumped into my seat. "What'd you forget daddy?" Natalie asked.

"Oh uh it was nothing sweetheart." I said trying to cover up the fact that I got her teachers number.

As we headed home I thought of when would be a good time to have a date and what would be a good date.

I wanted to impress (y/n).
