Your POV:

I woke up not know where I was and my head pounding. I sat up and groaned as I took in my surroundings. Grayson's room? What was I doing here.

I look over at the bed side table and see my phone sitting next to a glass of water and some Tylenol. I sigh as I pick up the pills and take a couple with a huge gulp of water.

I pick up my phone and squint at my lock screen to see a text from Amy.

Amy- I had fun last night. Hope I can see you again before I leave for home :)

I smile at my phone as I was interrupted by a deep voice.

"You're finally awake." Grayson says with a soft smile. I shoot him a some what embarrassed smile because I'm not even sure what I did last night. God I hope I didn't embarrass myself.

"What happened?" I asked running my hands through my hair. Grayson sighs at my question as he sits next to me on his bed.

"Well I went to go get a couple of drinks to blow off some steam but I saw you with another guy." He swallowed hard as he looked down at the floor. "The guy you were with wouldn't leave you alone so I butted in and told him to leave. After he left I ended up bringing you here because you were wasted." He continued with a little laugh.

I groaned just at the little bit he told me. "How'd I get this on?" I asked gripping the hem of his plain white shirt.

"I put it on you so you wouldn't have to sleep in that skin tight dress." He said looking me in the eyes.

My eyes widened at the thought of his dressing me. Did we do something while I was drunk? I mean we already have had sex but still.

"Don't worry we didn't do anything." He said with a little chuckle as he saw my reaction. "I wouldn't ever take advantage of you like that.

"Thank you." I said with a sigh and a soft smile.

"For what?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"For everything. Thanks for helping me last night and respecting me." Said playing with his shirt.

He lifted up my chin to make me look him in the eyes, "Anything for you." You said with a small smile tugging at the edges of his lips.

My heart sped up and a swarm of butterflies erupted in my stomach. My face was for sure red as I smiled big. Before I could even say anything he leaned in and attached his lips to mine. I kissed him back right away enjoying every minute.

Both of his hands cupped my face as he deepened the kiss. Just right when I thought things were gonna get even more heated he pulled away causing me to kind of frown.

"You should probably eat some breakfast." He said looking down at the bed and scratching his head. I nodded in agreement and stood up right after he did.

I followed him all the way to his kitchen expecting to see Natalie watching tv in the living room or something but I wasn't.

"Where's Natalie?" I asked wit furrowed eyebrows as my bare feet hit the cold tile of the kitchen floor.

"She's at Cameron's again." Grayson muttered over his shoulder as he reached into his cabinet.

"Did she want to go?" I asked as I picked a seat at the table.

"Well Cameron offered to take her because she could tell I needed some time to myself." He said as he grabbed a box out of the cabinet.

I nodded at him as I tucked my legs up to my chest and rested my chin on my knees.

"Are pancakes alright?" Grayson asked already getting the stuff out.

"Well considering you already have everything out for them, yes." I said with a chuckle.

"Well I didn't think you'd deny pancakes because who does that?" He jokes as a big smile is plastered on his face.

We both laughed as he turned the stove on but I could still feel this awkward tension that needed to be addressed because of what happened after school Friday. I sighed at the thought of it. Grayson immediately looked up from the stove.

"What's wrong?" he asked taking all of his focus off of the pancakes and turning it towards me.

"Nothing. I-I'm jut sorry about Friday. It's just my boss called me into the office about it and I wa-" Grayson cut me off before I could ramble anymore.

"It's fine. I understand." He said flashing me a comforting smile before he flipped one of the pancakes.

I smiled as I rested my head back on my knees and looked at the ground.

We sat in silence for a little while because he was busy cooking but I didn't mind the silence. Soon the silence was broken.

"Can you promise me something?" Grayson asked as he turned the stove off. I furrowed my eyebrows because I was confused and both shocked.

"Sure." I said setting my feet flat on the floor as he brought the pancakes to the table.

"Promise me that we'll try. That we'll try to make this work because (y/n) it's been so long since I've felt this way and I can't let that go. I can't let you go." He said sitting across from me and staring me straight in the eyes.

My heart rate sped up because I didn't know what to say. I felt the same way for him but my job could be in danger.

Grayson continued to look at me waiting for me to make the promise for what seemed like forever. I glanced at my plate and then back up to him. "I promise." I said.
