When Summer awakened she heard that Ruby was gone. Taiyang sent out a message that an evil woman (Cinder) may have stolen or killed his youngest child. Yang searched around the woods for Ruby no luck. Taiyang searched every building and house in the area but still no luck on finding Ruby. Everyone looks everywhere but no luck. Taiyang then went into depression that he lost a baby and not just any baby his baby. For Taiyang's sake she told Yang and Qurow not to mention Ruby's name in the house.
Meanwhile
Ruby which is known as Ash was being raised by Cinder. When Ash went to sleep, Cinder would go outside and laughed evilly because when Summer Rose dies then no will kill her to avenge her. At this time Summer begins to get really sick.
