My heart was beating fast. Both excited and scared to death at the same time.
This was my chance to prove that I wasn't the same girl at the beginning of the year.
My whole life was me obeying orders and never saying anything. This was my chance to prove that I do have a voice.
A strong one.
"For the last song we're going to slow it down." I heard the DJ say.
We were getting ready to go up when I heard a huge bang and the music stopped. I ran to where the bang came from. I found Dante yelling at Travis.
"You idiot!"
"I'm sorry!!!" Travis yelled, trying to pick up the broken computer.
"What happened?!" Katelyn and I yelled.
"Well, Travis~Kun was going to help start the slow song, and then he knocked the computer over!" Kawaii~chan said as she tried to defend Travis.
"Travis!!" Katelyn yelled.
We all turned our heads to the stage to hear booing and screaming.
"We want our slow song!!"
"Come on!!"
"You can't have a slow song to finish!!"
The crowd was angry.
"We have to fix this!" Dante yelled, kinda freaking out.
"We can't perform to an audience like that!" Travis shouted while shaking me.
"Hm..." They all looked at me, freaking out.
"Well, there is one thing I can think of to fix this."
"What is it, (Y/n)~Senpai?!?" KC asked.
"We have the karaoke machine, right?"
"Yeah?" Katelyn questioned.
"People want to see couples singing, right? That's like a big thing!"
"Where are you going with this?" Aphmau asked, tilting her head.
Flashback!
"No, really!?!"
"You're telling me that Gene can sing!" I yelled excitedly, shaking Dante.
He laughed. "Yeah, even better than me, and he can sing almost anything!" He laughed at my excitement.
"Do you think he would sing publicly?"
"With you, (Y/n), I'm sure he'll do anything."
Flashback over!
"Dante, remember that conversation we had about Gene's singing?" I asked, looking at Dante.
