After Mikasa was done taking a bath, she begun grooming herself with her packed clothes at her personal closet. Her chosen worn clothes was a white long sleeved shirt with buttons, also topped with a pink sort of jacket, and a cute short skirt with simple leather shoes.

Sooner then she went to the library. As she was in front of the entrance of the library Captain Levi was there wearing simply his black long sleeved shirt and pants, she breath heavily in sigh and nervously went inside with him.

As they enter Mikasa thought pathetically that Levi would be needing her with the tall shelves to get some heavy books, since she thought he can't reach the books for himself.

As they walk towards a corner beside a window, Levi stopped. They were facing a tall wooden shelves full of old, huge, thick and heavy books.

Mikasa looked down at Levi with her usual expression, while he was saying," It's well obvious that I want you to get books from these shelves."

Levi pointed the books one by one as Mikasa looked over at the chosen books needed, "I want you to carry those books over here on this desk." Placing his hand on the near desk to point out.

Mikasa replied obediently," yes sir."

Mikasa then took the old shabby ladders at the other corner of the library and started climbing to get the heavy books. While she carry the books seven at a time, Levi was leaning on the wall and watching her to secure her safety climbing those tall shelves while carrying those heavy books with an old wooden ladder, going up and down to get total of fourteen of the books.

While Levi was watching her. Mikasa's long, smooth and fair legs caught his attention, since she was wearing a short skirt. Mikasa was not aware of it.  It was unusual for her to wear those, since back at the walls or the squad's cabin. She always worn a long dress or the survey corps uniform.

After Mikasa was done carrying the books on the desk. Mikasa noticed that the books has no relation to the situation that humanity have, about titans, history of the walls, or anything else, yet instead simply about manners.

Mikasa curiously asked," Sir, what are you going to do with this books?"

Levi looked at her and answered," I won't be the one reading these books. Instead you will be reading these books to nurture that head of yours about respect and necessary manners." Mikasa was surprised of how many books she needs to read with only manners in the content.

Levi took a book randomly from the group of books and placed it in front of her loudly pounding on the desk.

"Start reading it will took you many hours to read these."
"Yes sir...",she replied. She sat down on her chair and begun reading on her mind silently. Levi sat at the corner and had his own business. He was doing some sort of paperwork.

After a few hours, Mikasa was starting to get a bit lazy, yet she was done reading three books that fast. Still reading since captain Levi was watching her, arm crossed out, leaning on the wall while sitting on his chair uncomfortably. Captain Levi was done with his paperworks so he decided to just watch Mikasa do her job.

The library room was a complete silent, the only sound that was heard was the flipping of pages.

After several hours, it was already late at night. Mikasa was finally done reading fourteen of them. She had read all the books the whole afternoon and almost half of the early night. As she return the books back at the tall shelves, she then noticed that Lance Corporal Levi looked asleep on his chair.

She then silently went down on the ladders and checked if he was really sleeping, since she was done reading she wanted to wake him up. She went towards him bending on her knees going closer to him, in an angle to see if he was really asleep.

Levi wasn't really sleeping since he has the sickness insomnia, that he can't sleep that well. He was just resting his eyes.

In a moment their faces were so close to each other, that Levi felt Mikasa's presence close to him.

Mikasa can't help but complement silently how handsome Captain Levi is. Despite his short height, he still has an attractive appearances.

That moment sparked for the two of them. Levi suddenly opened his eyes slowly, seeing Mikasa looking at him closely on his face, making a near eye contact. Mikasa was shock on the moment Levi opened his eyes. She immediately moved backwards and stood up on her knees.

"Mikasa, what are you doing?"

Mikasa answered embarassly, "Sir..its not what you think it is. I was finished reading the books you picked. So I was just checking if I needed to wake you up from your sleep...gumenasai." (sorry in Japanese: gumenasai)

Levi stared at her while Mikasa was avoiding eye contact. "Perhaps you didn't skip any pages." "yes sir." "Good"

Awkward silent entered.

In a few seconds, a noise downstairs and outside the castle was heard. Levi and Mikasa immediately went down to see. To be expected it was Commander Hanji san.

Hanji shouted in joy," GOOD EVENINNNGG!
"Its just you.", Levi said.

"Ohhh great to see you two are going well tooooogeeethhheerr.", She teases.

"Good evening Commander Hanji.", Mikasa greeted back.

Hanji, Mikasa and Levi sat on the table having dinner together. Hanji started talking about the situation about the only chances of succeeding against the titans. While Mikasa was the one cooking for them while Captain Levi was listening to the discussion.
