After that night... they all had dinner together...

Mikasa and Levi cleaned the castle for more than a week already. Many things were quickly done for the both of them. Compared to the old times, Levi and Mikasa became quite close with each other, yet still far.

Sometimes when they're alone at the dining table, silence frequently fills the space for the both of them, and seldom talks with each other. Although Mikasa seems to quite lessen her disobedience and hatred on Captain Levi.

Living together for the most of the recent days has develop their relationship.

In the following night...

Captain Levi was alone in the wooden dining table, sitting at the end, relaxed on his chair, with no plates in front of him, but plainly just having a drink.

After several minutes, Mikasa was finally done washing the dishes. In relief she took the cleansed dishes and placed it properly in the kitchen's cabinet for plates, glasses and utensils.

She then went in front of Lance Corporal Levi, announcing her daily achievement, "Sir, I've finished washing the dishes."

In surprise, Levi wasn't wearing his usual clothing. He looked messy and smutty, but looked appealing or alluring in the same way.

His white collared shirt is opened exposing his neck, chest and abs. His cravat wasn't properly or neatly fixed but surrounded around his neck and shoulder, looking like a white blanket.

Mikasa immediately noticed this and caught her awareness and attention. She was also a bit disturb seeing Heichou like this.

Levi looked blank at her while drinking. He then placed his glass on the surface and replied persuasively, " Well done...since you're finish, why won't you sit down and join me."

Mikasa obediently sat down on the closest chair, diagonally beside him. She wouldn't mind if she would have a mini tea party with Heichou.

He then poured the drink into her glass until its full. In that glance, Mikasa noticed he wasn't drinking his daily tea. Instead it was alcohol. He also poured for himself a glass and drank continuously, taking a large gulp.

Mikasa was alarmed for the Captain, especially it was unfavorable for him to be drinking. It was also unusual.

Mikasa quickly reacted, " Heichou! Have you been drinking all this time?"

"Don't worry I'm not as alcoholic as that Pixis, I only drink twice a year, on my birthday and not on my birthday.", He answered goofing and continued drinking his glass, making it empty.

She then became troubled and immediately protester, "Sir, as a concerned cadet I insist you to stop."

Levi put his empty glass down and gave her a bone - chilling look as she gulped in nervousness.

"My words are law here. Stop demurring everything I simply ask you to do. I just want to fill up my night with redundant thoughts... simply all I want you to do is join me this night.", He told her in a nerve-racking tone.
