Hearing Levi's fond and vulnerable request, she drastically got flustered. Even so, she still felt the feeling of restraint and hindered herself from going beyond the unnoticeable boundary on the entrance door of the room from the outside region.
There was a few seconds of waiting between the two as Levi expects her to come in already by this time.
"Cap..captain... Did you forget that I'm. not allowed to...enter?..", she mumbled with a shy tone of volume.
Levi opened his eyes to glance back at her. He can't deny how adorable Mikasa is right now, especially knowing that she was gradually affected of what happened in his office the other day.
"Does this brat want me to leave my bed to just drag her over here already?", he thought to himself.
"Sir... as your cadet, I'm being humble enough to follow every order you gave me.", she added an explanation, "If so.. I need your permission..."
Before she knows it, Levi grabbed Mikasa's wrist and pulled her cautiously, making at least one of her feet move unconsciously passed the line.
"Mikasa, you've already invaded something in me without giving you my permission. Isn't that kind of rude?", he said as a nasty smirk appeared on his face. He gazed at her for a second as he enjoyed staring at her. No doubt she looked beautiful this close.
"Forget about what took place in this room..", he told her with persuasiveness and let goes of her wrist.
Without a word, he went back and snuggled in his comfortable bed and closed his eyes, while Mikasa stood there speechless.
Another round of seconds passed as the two freezed there, waiting.
"......."
"Tch...", drained from patience, he yearned at her,"Why are you just standing there? Come here and do something."
Mikasa reddened, hearing his command. She eventually went there with no hindrance.
"Sir, what do you desire me to do?", she asked with no shred of seduction.
He turned around to see her sitting on a chair just beside his bed.
"I want you to watch over me ...", he asked for a personal cause. "Tch, I may look like I'm asking attention from you.... but I'm certainly not.", he refused on what's obvious as he felt a hit of shyness and embarrassment. "I just need someone who could do little things for me for once.", he explained.
Mikasa didn't really know what to say, but the marked blush on her face was considered a response. Suddenly, Levi made a series of coughs after his endearing sentences. Mikasa swiftly got alarmed by it. She almost forgotten that the Captain was still sick.
