Levi was mindlessly drinking his tea while everyone, frozen on their chairs, was staring at him quietly. He place his teacup down creating the only timid sound in the room and announced," So I conducted this meeting to know more about my squad members."

He continued,"We will be working together and worse I will be fighting with you, brats. I don't want a bunch of shitty strangers in my squad, so I want us to know each other better."
Everyone in the squad was ridiculously surprise to the thought the captain would declare a meeting just for this purpose. 

Levi muttered," So shall we make this faster and just start talking?" He slowly gazed at each of his squad's faces and stopped at the titan freak,"...Eren..you go first."
Eren stood up confidently and shouted,"Yes Sir!! I'm Eren Jaeg---!"

"Brat..I told you to talk about yourselves not to introduce.", he cleared what's obvious.

He glared at each member's faces again with a pouted pursed lips and a blank expression calling,"Sasha ,Armin, Connie, Jean..."
Sasha gave a confused face and questioned, "What should I tell about myself sir? "
Levi answered, "Anything... Ask yourself scumbag."
Sasha replied foolishly, "Uuhh... uhmm.. I like potatoes and pork chops!" Perceiving what they heard, the squad hindered their bursting laughter in perfect control.

"Anybody else who can make this conversation more interesting?", the captain demanded.

Armin said revealing his interests and his childhood," When I was young, I always read books about the outside world...outside the walls, I love to see the ocean with my own eyes. When I was just a child, I was always bullied in the neighborhood, yet Mikasa was always there to protect me and Eren."
"So you're more of a bookworm than a warrior.", he concluded.
"I guess you can say that sir.", Armin replied in agreement

Eren then called and mentioned, "Armin I was also there to protect you ..remember?"
Armin said in a bit confusing tone,"uh..oh yeah.."
Mikasa then finally went in the chat, "You had no match for them, I needed to protect you Eren, and always be at your side all the time."
"Mikasa?", he murmured giving her an embarass face expression.
Levi mumbled while patiently listening to them, "heh...Is that so.."

Sasha and Connie then butted in and talked about themselves also. Jean came along too just as he started bragging about himself.

Jean said feeling self-assured with a cringey swag and a poised grin on his face," Not to brag, but almost all the girls in my neighborhood wanted me to be their boyfriend."

Eren immediately protested, "Call me some slack! I think all of that isn't true! Who would fall for a horse-face?" "Shut up loser!", he angrily yelled protecting his image.
"I bet Sasha was a hungry pig in her old days before the walls were breached by Titans!", Connie teased between his laughs.
Sasha replied as she gave Connie a friendly punch," Hey! Don't compare me to a pig fleabag!"
Armin laughed softly while saying, "I think she's always hungry... to be honest."

Everyone was enjoying talking about their old days. The room wasn't filled with silence anymore. It was more of laughter and old memories. While the squad was busy talking, Levi noticed Mikasa was the only one whose a bit quiet in the corner, just drinking tea by her own.

Levi stared at her while she's drinking her tea as her rosy lips touched the surface of the cup sipping minimum amount of tea. He can't help himself but gaze on her beautiful fair face and short black hair.

He wanted to know more about her.
