As decided, Levi walked out from his office, properly groomed, as Mikasa stood fairly outside his office door as ordered. "Follow me, Ackerman.", he commanded with a low, fainted voice just as Mikasa escorted the Captain to the front door and outside their small shelter.

Night has fallen fast upon the land. No more than an hour ago the sky was painted with hues of red, orange and pink, but all colors had faded leaving only the thick shade of darkness showing nothing. The only shimmering light that glows in the mellow field through the shaded forest was the squad's cabin.

The two walked soundlessly into the mass volume of lengthy grasses wherein an allotted space is found between both of them whereas Captain Levi is leading the way and Mikasa stayed behind. While busy making their own footsteps, Levi can't help but take quick and short glances behind his shoulders to reassure himself that Mikasa is able to follow. This went on for a few minutes and seeded him to get irritated.

At the unlighted pathway, Mikasa is plainly observing where they're heading as she continues stepping on the Captain's footprints, following at a regular pace as Captain's. Having no clue where Levi was leading her, she just remained silent. Staring at Levi's back for a moment of time, it reminded her how short the Captain is at his age.

She then changed her sight at the sky and noticed the dull grey clouds. She felt the cold indistinct breeze that blew some strands of her hair away from her face. Mikasa reasonably thought to tell the Captain that it might rain soon. Before acting on the idea, she gazed beyond the distance they traveled from the cabin and consequently decided to return.

"Oi! Where do you think you're going, Ackerman?", Levi uttered an interrupting question on a comparatively louder tone of voice. Delaying her action, she froze as she was caught. It felt like the Captain is firmly watching her as if he wanted her to be always near him as company.

"Is this how childish he has become lately?...", she questioned his behavior silently, "Maybe he tends to act this way when he is sick. I should probably be more patient with him." She faced forward once more and apologized with reason," Oh.. I'm sorry heichou. I was just about to get the umbrella inside. It seems like it would rain any moment."

"Don't worry. I won't be staying here that long.. just for a few minutes.", Levi answered as his hand gestures her to tread his heels away from the cabin. Mikasa followed without hesitation to the point that she trusts Levi when he said just a couple of minutes.

Remaining in the same pace as earlier, his feet finally stopped on a spacious area not far from the squad's cabin, then his eye sight went to find Mikasa as she appeared to look smaller in his view. Levi can't bear it for any longer and mentioned it with sharp diction," Can't you walk faster, beside me?"

"I'm fine here.", she straightforwardly replied. Levi then responded back with his iconic, "tch", and said with pronounced irritation,"I was not asking if you were, don't you think it's difficult for me to consistently look behind just to make sure you're catching up with me."

"You don't need to look behind. I don't plan to leave.", Mikasa vowed with assurance. "Why can't you just walk beside me, that way it would be easier for both of us.", he assaulted with a suggestion, yet she continued her same, abiding pace.
