Amber
After what happened, I couldn't help but feel safer in Jace's presence. He's seen me at a weak point, and doesn't hate me. It's truly a miracle.
"Hey." I say once I walk onto the boat.
Ana sharply turns her head up. "Ambey!'Aris and Jace exchange looks.
"Ambey? Is that a new nickname or something?"
She just runs up and hugs me. "Sorry boys, I'm whisking her away." she says, then grabs my arm and drags me away."Okay?"
"Tell me everything.""There's nothing to tell." My face hardens.
"You sure?" She cocks her head to the side.
"Yup." She drops my arm.
"Well that was lame." She walks off. I just sigh. It was kinda hard. I walk to the dock, touching the water. It makes a small amount of synthetic blood.
My anger was everywhere. It became incredibly difficult to control.
The ocean current blows. I look far out towards the middle of the ocean.
I wonder what's hidden out there, but, haven't I disappeared too much?I dunno. Maybe I should just do nothing? After all I killed a man on accident. Well, a warlock.
But a man, nonetheless."Hey." Jace comes out.
"Hi."
"How's the ocean for you?"
"It's pretty."
"What about handsome? What if it's a man?"
"That too." I laugh. Handsome? Interesting.
The ocean is very handsome.
