When I woke up, I thought I was dreaming. I didn't recognize where I was. I saw a cold, concrete floor. I saw red splatters around me. I saw black hair cut on the ground.
Wait a second, that's my hair!
Who cut my freshly dyed hair? I loved my hair! What sick and twisted mother–...
That's when I remember everything. I turned to look around. Freddy, Issac, and people I couldn't identify were talking.
"No matter how hard I looked for clues in her thoughts, something was being cut off. The weirdest part was that she also seemed puzzled about it," Issac blubbers. She was standing like she was on a fashion runway, her hand on hip.
Freddy looks at me and grins. "You're up,–" he stands and walks towards me, then crouching in front of me. "– do you like your hair cut?"
"No, hair dye is expensive you idiot."
He gives me a weird look. Hair dye should be the least of my worries, but honestly, I'm pissed.
"Hair dye really should be at the back of your mind," Freddy says.
"Honestly, I'm pissed that you did that," I answer truthfully, "since you're already breaking my body just leave my hair alone, I've been growing it out."
"Okay, okay! Fine! I'll put a spell for your hair!" He barks.
He mumbles and my hair magically reattaches itself.
"Thank you?" I mumble. His tone was super unnecessary but kay.
"Boss, ritual?"
"Read it or I'll give you severe cramps," He threatens.
Okay, I started howling in laughter. I'm unfazed, I'm female! What does he expect? Ah, no I totally haven't dealt with cramps that make me restrain myself from getting more ibuprofen and Midol. I haven't been bleeding every month. I haven't done this for 6 years, no! No way!
"Why are– why are you laughing?" He demands.
"I'm totally not female and totally don't deal with severe cramps all the time!" I respond, wiping fake tears.
"Has she gone insane?" I hear Issac mumble.
Have I gone insane? Have I gone insane?
"Of course I have! I've had to deal with your traumatizing sh*t for the past months, no! I didn't let anyone see what I felt! No one knows! Then to find out that everything is a lie! Yea, I'm real great right now! I'm so enlightened, what is pain? What are feelings? What is reality in which I live in? Do I even live? Am I just a storybook? Am I real? Are you real? Because I sure don't f*cking know, Issac! I just know that you're sure getting on my nerves and I will rip that pretty little neck of yours apart. Test me again and I sure will. You're wouldn't be the first I've killed."
The room goes silent for what seems like hours. It was so uncomfortable. But I didn't care. I'm in a fit of foggy rage. All this crap I've been holding in, to suddenly let out... I felt crazy.
I watched Freddy stare in silence.
I watched Issac fidget nervously with her phone.
The others looked away.
I felt the darkness in my blood course quickly through my veins and arteries. I suppressed the darkness. Fletcher, I won't be like my aunt. I won't go crazy like she did because of you, but I sure as h*ll will use you to my advantage.
You don't control me.
You couldn't be more wrong.
I control you.
That's when I felt it. The darkness loomed over me, creating an aura you could feel. I felt the intensity of it. It left a feeling of anything the opposite of lucid. It was wild. I liked it.
They backed away from me, even tho I was tied to the ground.
"Fletcher," Freddy whispers to the old man, "is present in her."
"Yeah, he is. He's being my advantage because he doesn't reign. I do." I growl.
"You've killed someone?" Freddy asks, with more confidence.
I grin, "He was probably one of your spies. I broke his neck because of Fletcher. It's okay, he's in a much better place than with you, you abusive animal."
He growls in anger, "Watch your mouth!" He advances towards me.
My next words were now just true insanity. I'd never felt manic before, but now I have. They were chilling, something to make you freeze you in your steps in fear. That sure happened to Freddy.
"I'll kill you," I hiss coldly. Freddy stops. He looks down at me with an expression of anger, his jaw clenched, yet his eyes told a completely different story. He looked scared. It only fed Fletcher's wrath.
The door upstairs slams and we all jump, going silent.
I look at the end of the staircase, and see Juliet.
"Jewls," I whisper. She smiles. The others appear behind her.
"Eliminate them," Freddy growls. I freeze for a split second. The others start walking towards them.
"Stop!" I yell. They ignore me. I start to panic and rip at the ties. I thrash but nothing was working. They were advancing close to them and didn't show signs of stopping. I look at them and accidentally yell, "F*CK!" I was in such a panic.
Aris looks at me and grins. He suddenly disappears. I start to really panic.
"Aris?" I ask nervously.
Suddenly I hear in the smallest whisper behind my ear, "Count to ten and we'll activate. One.. two... three.." I keep counting and I hit ten.
"Activarea este cheia supraviețuirii.'"
A bright light comes from the center of the room. I could feel the seal ripping apart, and the ropes tying me down. I was lifted off the ground and the light disappeared. I was gently put the ground on my feet. I look at my friends. They looked pretty bad*ss. Aris was now surrounded by light, and on his white t shirt reflected rainbows. Jace was now in half human, half wolf form. His fingernails were now jagged claws made for tearing things apart. His clothes were all black. Black skinny jeans and a black long sleeved shirt. Ana was wearing a black cloak that hid those long, razor blades for nails. Her eyes were reflecting light as a bright red. I looked at myself. I wore black tights with black shorts. My hair was pulled back into a long braid. My shirt was a deep purple, but the thing I knew most, was that my eyes were glowing cold violet.
I looked at Freddy, "Now you should see why I smiled when you sedated me. Ready for the once in a lifetime, deadly dance?"
