Merida zipped through the forest on horseback. It's been a few years since she left her home in Scotland to explore the world. She has been to England, France, Germany, and now she has headed to Italy. Trotting through the forest, she stopped at a pub called the 'Snuggly Duckling'. "Well, that's a weird name for a pub, but I'm parched." She burst through the door and tossed a gold coin to the bartender, "Gimmie a tall mug'a beer." she said propping herself against the bar. Everyone was staring at her.
One guy, with a hook for a hand, stood, "This ain't the place for a lady, honey."
She eyed him, "Good thing I'm not a lady then, huh?" she replied and chugged the beer and burped as loud as possible. Out the corner of her eye she saw two men playing darts. "Aye!" She said, strutting over to the board. "I bet you i can get 5 bulls-eyes."
"HA! I'll tell you what sweetheart, if you can get 5 bulls-eyes I'll give you all the money in my pouch." The little one said.
"Big mistake." Merida retorted. Stepping back to the other end of the bar, she pulled out one arrow after another and shot them dead center, each one splitting the arrow before it.
"I'll take that." She said and seized the pouch from the little man's hand.
"Cheater!" Someone in the back yelled. Everyone stood, angry, and walked towards her.
"Ah, well, would ya look at the time! Best be off!" Merida said, nervously and ran out the door. Hopping onto her horse the galloped through the trees, faster and faster, trying to get away from the angry mob running after her. Suddenly her horse turns and runs through a thick wall of vines and leaves, revealing a tall tower and a waterfall. "Whoa.." Merida mumbles, star-struck.
