NIKKI'S P.O.V.

All I felt was excruciating pain ripping me from all over. I tried so hard to muffle my cries of pain as we moved farther and farther away from Eric.

"Nikki, what's wrong?" Asked a very worried looking Lexi. I could barely hear her. I was about to reassure her that I was fine but when I opened my mouth all that came out was my screams of unbearable pain. I could see Lexi but I couldn't hear a word that she was saying all I heard was silence but I knew that I was screaming. I could feel the pain coursing through my veins.

I knew that part of the pain was from Eric but I knew that something wasn't right. I just didn't know what was happening and I was scared. What could be causing me soo much pain.

I felt Lexi shaking me but slowly my eyes started to close on their own.

I could hear my breathing as it started to slow down and finally my heart started to slow down too. Am I dying? This just isn't normal. What's going on?

I started to walk around but all that surrounded me was darkness.

"LET ME OUT!" I screamed.

Suddenly the scenery changed and I was in the woods. It was night time. In the distance I saw torches coming my way. I started running when they got closer. I ran into a cave and was backed up in a corner when they appeared my uncle was with them.

"So this is how it'll end for you," he said with an inhuman look in his eyes. He wasn't looking at me though. As I looked to where he was looking at I was shocked to see myself in torn clothes and blood coming out from some deep wounds.

I knew what would come next.

'This isn't real,' I said to myself.

"But sadly it is," I was shocked that I hadn't noticed the woman standing next to me. She had long whitish blonde hair, her skin was an unnaturally blue color and her eyes were a deep dark green. She looked so unearthly but beautiful.

"Who are you? And what do you mean its true?"

"I am your mother as I am to all witches. The decisions you have currently been making will lead you to this road unless you take a different approach."

The goddess is here next to me, but why."Why are you showing me this?" I asked.

"Because my child, I do not want evil to take over the world. Your uncle is the most revolting witch who has chosen to use his powers for evil. I can not tell you what to do but I can show you what will be, in the hopes that it will aid you to change the future."

She looked me in the eyes. There was a sadness in her eyes and I didn't know why. She came closer to me and gently caressed my cheek.

"You will face many obstacles along the way and even after that you still have a hard decision to make," she softly told me.

"Goddess why did you curse me?" I asked.

"I did not curse you my child, their is a reason I made things the way they are. Both of your soulmates complete you like no one else can." She smiled a reassuring smile.

I felt tears fill up my eyes. "But I can't do this," I fell on my knees, "I can't break them, I'd much rather never decide."

"But you have to by your twentieth birthday or you shall die before your time."

Than I shall die, I can't decide.

She started to disappear. "Don't be afraid," I heard her faintly say.

I knew one thing, I wasn't going to tell Lexi that if I didn't choose I'd die. I can't tell anyone.
