And just like that Thomas ran.
"Hey!" Yelled Minho
Everything was muffled to Thomas, he couldn't hear, he just did what his mind told him to. And that was to run.
He ran and ran until he reached a large wooden tree.
He hid behind it and sat down. He hadn't realized how tired he was until he sat down. He looked around the tree after awhile and saw Minho and Newt walking around, looking. He ducked back behind the tree, not wanting to get caught.
He looked up at the sky, wanting to clear his mind.
He sat there for almost an hour before thinking about how stupid he was for running. He just left the hospital because of his heart! And running only makes your heart go faster and faster! How stupid can he be? Well, he didn't want to deal with Minho and Newt right now but he would get seriously get yelled at once he gets home.
The sky started turning shades of red, orange, yellow, and even a bit of purple. The day was slowly shifting to night. Thomas thought about his 2 choices right now. To ether go home and get yelled at, or stay here and get found tomorrow, because he knew they would find him tomorrow is it wasn't today.
He thought about for a second. He remembered the times back in the glade. When instead of sleeping in a really uncomfortable hammock, he slept in the edge of the woods next to the dead heads. It was A LOT better then being around a ton of snoring gladers, and shifting in a horrible made hammock.
It made him smile thinking about it. But it also helped him know what he wanted to do. He chose to sleep there. And wait until the next morning.
The next morning.
