I know a lot of you are disappointed by this ending. People make the wrong choices. They get too caught up in what's happening in front of them that they can't see the whole picture. I've put a lot of myself into Addy and of my life into this book. When I wrote this ending, I was trying to figure out what to do about a guy. When I finally gave it a title a month later, so much had happened, and this ending is what I had wished happened for me.
Now months later, I can see how toxic everything was about that guy, but I couldn't see it when I was up close, when I was still in the story.
It's up to you to decide what this ending is for these characters, but thank you for joining me while I tried to figure out my own life through this story.
