BRIDGET'S POV

I woke up in my room, dizzy, tired. My eyes were blurry and I was laying on my bed.

"Hey, you're awake!" A familiar voice called out, enthusiastically.

I couldn't see a thing. My vision was still really blurry.

But that voice, the deep, soothing voice. I knew exactly who it was.

"Chandler...?" I whispered.

"Hi, baby," he said, cupping my cheek.

Baby?

I smiled. "What am I doing here?"

He sighed.

"Well, after the incident."

I looked at my hands.

"I took you back here," he continued. "I had to sneak you out of school. You were covered in blood and passed out."

"Oh, well thanks. But how did you know where I lived...?" I asked, creeped out.

"I asked one of your neighbors, asshole. I don't stalk you," he chuckled, "I live around here."

I gave a light smile.

I didn't know what to say. I just don't want him to bring up what happened. And sure enough, he did.

"So...what was that all about?" He asked. I knew exactly what he was talking about.

"Nothing," I mumbled.

He raised a brow. "It was nothing, huh?"

I shrugged.

He came over to me and lifted my sleeve. "This is nothing?"

I looked down.

He pulled up my other sleeve to reveal older, scabbing cuts. Chandler sighed.

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why do you do this?"

"That's none of your business."

He rolled his eyes.

"It isn't! I just fucking met you and you're wondering why I do this to myself."

"Yes. I am wondering. So tell me. Plus, I saved your life," he teased.

I squinted my eyes. I rolled over in my bed to see my nightstand. I checked my alarm clock.

12:34. Why that late? I arrived at school around 7:30 and explored with Chandler for an hour, before, well everything. How long was I out?

"Chandler?" I whispered.

He raised his eyebrows.

"How long was I passed out for?"

"A long time," he chuckled. "Now tell me why you do that to yourself."

"No," I sternly stated.

"Yes."

"Chandler, no. It's too much, a long story."

"I got time," he said, taking a seat on the side of my bed.

"Nope!" I rolled over on my side and tried to go to sleep.

I felt my bed shift and noticed Chandler was on the other side of me. I blushed.

"I will sleep with you if it'll make you tell me."

My eyes widened.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"Not sex, idiot. Just sleeping."

I giggled. "Maybe..."

"Fine. Then go to sleep," he told me, putting his arm around my waist. He pulled me closer.

"You have a girlfriend, don't you?" I blurted out. I didn't want to say it, but I had to.

I felt him shake his head. "Yeah, so?"

My smile got wider.

Eventually, I drifted off into a deep sleep with Chandler still at my side.

Sorry this was so short compared to my other chapters!! I didn't really want to get into anything else because Chandler and Bridget just met each other. But thanks for reading!!!! I'll update soon.🌸❤️❤️❤️
