"But he can see her Aberdeen heart, London eyes, Glasgow bone."

It has now been two days. Two days spent in the wondrous and extravagant Mexico City. We've toured around, Cole showing me places and explaining the history. He said that he used to come here a lot with his family, but stopped coming, I just wonder why.

Now, the sun is setting and the city lights glow as we stride casually along the store fronts. Occasionally, we'd peak inside if we saw something interesting, but never bought anything. Earlier this week, we went shopping and bought some very nice clothes so we didn't have to wear the same ones everywhere we went.

Cole and I walk shoulder to shoulder, though his shoulder is by my head. Whenever I'm around him, I always feel so short, like a little pebble under his shoe, but he always treats me as if I were the biggest thing in his life, and I love it. No one has ever treated me this way before, but the way that he makes me feel everyday is stunning.

The sun is now below the horizon, the sky turning pastel blue with shades of violet and amethyst; a perfect blend of colors. Cole suddenly takes my hand in his, and gazes down at me, a smile on his lips.

"What?" I ask, heat rushing up my neck as he keeps me in his gaze. He snaps out of his daze and looks away.

"Nothing," he mutters under his breath. I let it slide without further questioning and avert my gaze forward, the beautifully lit palace up ahead of us. The streets are bustling, live music playing as people dance casually in front of the palace. I watch them, from afar, admiring them. Some women wear fancy dresses that flow out when they twirl and others are in everyday clothes; some men are dressed in tuxedos while others are casually dressed. Smiles are on their faces as they go around in circles, in sync with one another.

I feel a slight tug from my side and see Cole pulling my arm gently, tilting his head suggestively towards the dancers. Suddenly, I get nervous, but mask it over. Cole pulls me closer to the twirling and dancing couples. He places his hands on my waist, and follows what all the other men do. He lifts his hand in mine above our heads as he twirls me, my hair whipping around in the breeze.

A smile lights up my face as the dance continues. We follow the moves that everyone else does, though sometimes I slip and step on his feet and I apologize while Cole just laughs, and I can't help but join in. The dance is sort of a mix of the Tango and the Salsa, and it's fun, euphoria taking over me with every twirl and twist.

The music slowly dies down, and the dancing slows too. Claps and loud cheers erupt around us as the band playing the music stands and bows. Roses fly up in the air and I watch as the petals litter the floor, the sweet aroma filling my nose every time I breathe in.

"Ready to head back?" Cole whispers in my ear and I nod. He drapes his arm protectively around my shoulders as we near the hotel.

"How did you know how to dance like that?" I ask, still shocked that he knew how to do that.

"My mother taught my brothers and I how to, so that every time we came here, we'd be able to join the dance," he says, his tone calm his small smile never flattering until he mentions his mother.

"That must have been amazing," I infer, and Cole nods his head.

"It was," he drops his arm and reaches for the door, pulling it open for me to enter and I speak a soft 'thank you' to Cole, who leads the way to the elevators. He presses the up button and the door immediately open, and take up to the fifth floor once we had pressed that option.

We stay quiet, the silence comforting. Cole inserts the room key and enters in after me, closing the door shut behind him. Still, every single time I enter this room, I'm still amazed at it's beauty, even though we've been here already for three days now.

I stride over to the balcony, casually pulling the French doors open, like I do every time I come back here. I step out onto the balcony and stare over the edge. The shop lights illuminate the streets and the building lights light up the evening sky.

I stare down at the ground, people casually stride by with bags in their hands or have their arms intertwined with someone.

Cole comes up from behind me, and places his hands down on the balcony fence, just like me as he stares out at the stars. I don't say a word, and neither does he. Loud car horns, cheers, and people's voices sound from below, but they're all mellowed out by my rapidly beating heart because of how close Cole is, but I don't mind. I can feel his warmth from here.

"Can I tell you something?" Cole states, turning his head to me, his midnight blue eyes meeting my hazel ones.

I nod, awaiting his response.
