Aki and her squad were on their way to the chunin exam when a commotion down the hall caught their attention.
"You're trying to get into the chunin exams and you can't even get past us?" someone said,
"Wait..." Aki frowned. "We're still on the second floor... Sensei did say the third floor yeah?"
"Actually, she said room 301," Nanami answered. "Which you would think is on the third floor."
"The sign does say 301," Aiyanna agreed. "Let's just see what happens here, ok? I'm curious about whether or not we're the only ones to notice that little issue..."
There was a lot of talking, which Aki had stopped paying attention to. She was staring at a boy with probably the nicest hair she'd seen.
"So smooth looking," she mumbled to herself, a dazed expression on her face. "I wanna touch it- ack!"
"Aki, no," Aiyanna grabbed Aki's collar. Nanami giggled.
"Very nice speach-"
"Oh, it's Sasuke," Aki said, snapping out of her daze. "And Naruto! Yo Naruto!"
Aki threw an arm around Naruto's neck, grinning at the blonde.
"Oh hey Aki, are you taking the exam too?"
"Yeah, Sensei figured we were ready, so here we are," she grinned.
"Tch," Sasuke gave her a mildly annoyed look. "Reverse the genjutsu, we can see through your illusion anyway. We're going to the third floor."
"It seems he figured it out too," Nanami said lightly, as she stepped up beside Aiyanna and Aki. "It's strange that so many were taken in by the illusion. Considering that we're only on the second floor."
"Visual genjutsu doesn't work on someone who can't see, after all," Aiyanna shrugged. "And the sharingan is supposed to see through all illusions, right?"
Sasuke gave her an indifferent look, though he did seem impressed.
"Well, aren't we the smart ones," one of the guys standing in the doorway said. "So you noticed an illusion. Tch, now let's see you deal with this!"
The guy moved to attack, which Sasuke moved to intercept. Aiyanna and Aki were also prepared to stop the fight when Nanami stopped them with a hand on each elbow.
"Don't reveal yourself here, wait for the exams," she said calmly.
"Right," Aiyanna answered with some embarrassment. "My bad."
"Yeah, my bad too, ya know?" Aki laughed nervously. "Anyway, let's go, right?"
Both attacks were blocked by a guy - who in Aki's opinion - looked kinda weird. He was in a green spandex suit and had enormous eyebrows.
"I wanna touch em..."
"Aki," Aiyanna sighed exasperatedly, dragging the girl behind her.
"But..." Aki whined.
"No!"
Nanami giggled and followed behind them.
