Tsukiko held Naruto's hand as they walked together. Shisui had gone to walk Sasuke home and had said he'd meet her back at her home since he was technically supposed to be watching her. She'd laughed at that, and agreed. She liked Shisui. He was so warm and friendly.
But she was concerned. He seemed to think more had happened in the meeting than she could remember. Was the other person making her forget things?
She shook it off as she listened to Naruto tell her about his day, and then he shoveled as much food as he could when a knock at the door drew her away.
'This is bad.'
She froze, her hand hovering inches above the handle. 'What is bad? What's going on?'
"Tsukiko? Are you there?" it was Shisui's voice.
She opened the door and peered out to see two ninja in animal masks standing behind Shisui.
"Ah, think you could come with us? The Hokage wanted to speak to you about something..."
She glanced at the masked ninja behind him, and Shisui looked over his shoulder at them, before grinning widely at her.
"Don't worry, they won't hurt you!" he held a hand out towards her, and she opened the door a little wider.
"Naruto, I'm going out," she called out. "Don't stay up too late, ok?"
"Kay!"
Tsukiko stepped out and took the proffered hand, a comfort for her confused fear.
