Nanami smiled to herself as the final answerable question appeared, and she ran her pencil over the indentation that Aiyanna had created for her. So far, it seemed like they were all doing fine. There was some incessant tapping, coming from where she could hear Naruto, which was irritating, but the constant tapping of pencils was also irritating, so she was willing to let it slide.

"Alright, listen up!" Ibiki called, signaling the beginning of the final question. "Here's the tenth and final question!"

She prepared herself, confident that she and her team would be making it through to the part of the exam which actually was her strength.

Not written exams.

"But, before I give you the tenth question, there are some more rules you need to be aware of."

There was a thump from Aki's direction, accompanied by a barely audible groan. There was also a groan from the direction of Katsu.

It seemed those two weren't particularly fond of rules.

Nanami had to agree in this case. So many rules, and then more surprise rules out of nowhere? Bummer.

The door at the back opened, and Nanami heard someone make a confused sound.

"Hmm, he sounds familiar.... Where did I meet him?"

"You're just in time," Ibiki addressed the person at the door. "I hope you found your trip to the bathroom, enlightening."

Nanami realized that whatever trick that guy was using, Ibiki had seen through it... but wasn't going to do anything about it apparently.

"Well?" Ibiki said. "Take your seat."

There were footsteps, and eventually, the person took a seat.

"These rules are unique to question ten," Ibiki continued as if he hadn't just been interrupted. "Listen carefully, and try not to let them frighten you."

"Scary," Nanami thought absently, chewing the end of her pencil.
