There was a dramatic silence as each of the genin swallowed hard.

"What... do we have to do?" Sakura questioned.

Kakashi chuckled, then pointed up. "Climb a tree."

"Climb a tree?!" the three cried in disbelief.

"Yeap," Tsukiko said, coming to stand beside Kakashi. "Only, you can't use your hands."

"What?" Sakura gave them both a disbelieving look. "You're kidding..."

"Are we?" Kakashi questioned, giving Tsukiko a look. "Let's see..."

She rolled her eyes and primed her chakra to the base of her feet. She then walked over to a tree and slowly walked up the side of it, coming to hang upside down on one of the branches.

"She climbed..."

"Straight up! And she's only using her feet!"

"Well, you get the idea," Kakashi shrugged, as Tsukiko released the chakra and nimbly flipped to the ground. "Focus your chakra to the soles of your feet, and use it to connect to the tree. This is one way to apply the power of chakra."

"Wait a minute!" Sakura yelled. "That's a nice trick, but how does it help us fight Zabuza?"

"Could you yell less, please?" Tsukiko sighed. "This is probably the only way for you three to fight him. Without proper chakra control, you're all easy targets."

"Tsukiko is right," Kakashi nodded. "That's the whole point of this training. First, you'll learn to draw a precise amount of chakra to a precise point in the body. This is difficult, even for an advanced ninja, like Tsukiko and me."

"It comes easier for some than others," Tsukiko said. "But it's all about Chakra control."

Tsukiko looked over at Kakashi. "You seem to have this in hand, so I'll leave you to it."

'I will keep an eye on the bridge builder. Gato has to know Zabuza failed, and there is little chance that he won't send someone else to finish the job.'

'Be careful, Tsukiko.'

Tsukiko waved him off as she walked away, calling out a cheery "good luck" to the team as she left. Once far enough, she created a clone and sent the clone back to the village to report a message, while she continued on back to the house.
