Do Info cards count as cheating?

Aiyanna sighed, as Aki and Nanami continued to talk amongst themselves, noticing that the other Genin were still talking to Kabuto, who was showing them some rather interesting cards. He was in the middle of explaining power balances and such when Sasuke asked an interesting question.

"Do those cards of yours have any information on the other candidates? Individually."

"They might," Kabuto answered. "You have someone special in mind."

This guy just rubs me the wrong way.... I don't trust him.

"I might."

"Always acting so cool," Aiyanna sighed.

He threw her a glare. "Start with her."

"Well, I can't promise that my information is complete or perfect, but I've got something on just about everyone, including you guys of course," Kabuto said, shuffling the cards. "You say start with her? Any particular reason?"

"He's sore cause I tied him up earlier," Aiyanna shrugged.

"Do Gaara of the Desert, and Rock Lee of the Hidden Leaf while you're at it," Sasuke continued.

"Man that's no fun, you know their names, and one of them is right there..."

He pulled up three cards. "Here they are."

"Show em to me," Sasuke growled.

"So grumpy," Aiyanna sighed.

"Ok, first up is you," he said, placing the card on the ground. It spun under his finger, then with a poof, information popped up on it. "Looks like you're about a year older than these guys, but you've been a genin for the same amount of time as them. About twelve C Ranks, twenty-two D Ranks, and one B Rank for your mission experience. Your squad leader is Tsukiko, and since joining her squad your taijutsu has become balanced out with your genjutsu and ninjutsu skills, which appear to be pretty strong. You appear to be a balanced kunoichi. This will be your first time as a candidate, the same as the others here. Your teammates are Nanami Hyuga and Aki Yamada."

"There you have it," Aiyanna said cheerily. "That's me. But gee, you said you only had something, that seems pretty detailed."

"Honestly, this information is more easily accessible than you would think," Kabuto said, a slight smile on his face. "But that's some high praise you're giving me. Anyway, now for Rock Lee..."

"Hyuga?" Naruto pulled a face.

"Rock Lee is about a year older too, and his mission experience is 11 C Ranks, and 20 D Ranks. His squad leader is Guy and in the last twelve months his Taijutsu has radically improved, but his other skills are pretty shaky. Last year he got a lot of attention as a genin, but for some reason, he chose not to participate. His team mates are Tenten and Neji Hyuga."

"Wait, there's that name again..."

"They're brother and sister, Naruto," Aiyanna explained. "Neji is Nanami's twin brother."

"Oh, I guess I get it."

"Alright then, now for Gaara of the desert," he put the last card on the small stack and spun it like the previous two. With a poof, new information appeared. "Mission experience... eight C Ranks and... one B Rank as a genin? Although, I guess you had one too, Aiyanna."

"Yeah, but I had way more C Ranks than eight, so he's someone to be watched for sure."

"Considering that I have no idea how many D Ranks he's got, that's a fair conclusion to come to," Kabuto agreed, before continuing. "I don't have as much on him since he's a rookie from another land, but there is this... He's survived every mission, without getting a scratch on him."

"The dude's done a B Rank as a genin, and has never even been injured?" Spikey hair dragman commented.

Oh shoot, Aki's naming tick is contagious.

"Hey, Aiyanna, did you get injured on your B Rank?" Naruto questioned.

"No, but that's because my -" she stopped, remembering the bad vibes she was getting from Kabuto. "Sensei made sure we stayed out of the thick of things. I did that B Rank with a different team from my actual squad, so I'm the only one with it."

"Oh..."

There was a little discussion about how the competition was going to be intense, but Nanami tapped Aiyanna's arm.

"We've got trouble coming our way," she said softly.

True enough, some of the Hidden Sound genin seemed to have taken exception to something that had been said, and were moving in on the small gathering. Unless it was Naruto yelling that did it.

"Well, prepare for trouble then."
