Aiyanna had stepped away from the other two for a moment when she came across a little... fight? The guy in the spandex was challenging Sasuke, by the looks of it, while Naruto was the one getting his butt kicked.
"You see, Sasuke," the boy in the bowl cut said. "Out of all the Leaf Genin entered into the Chunin Exams... I am the best."
Aiyanna couldn't help the enormously loud snort that escaped her, even as she tried to contain it.
Both the boy with the bowl cut, and Sasuke took notice of her at that.
"You disagree?" he demanded.
"Personally, I don't think you could really win in a fight against Nanami, or myself," Aiyanna said with a slight smirk. "Aki might only lose because she's a bit like Naruto, and jumps in without thinking things through."
"I am Rock Lee," he said, giving her the 'good guy' pose.
"Aiyanna Nakamura," she answered back. "Oh, and I clean forgot about Mikio Hyuga. But then, I feel like it's just a Hyuga thing to be a total badass when it comes to taijutsu."
Lee seemed to become depressed at that. "It is true, the Hyuga clan is a difficult obstacle to overcome..."
Aiyanna tipped her head curiously, then shrugged. "Well, whatever. Don't go claiming to be the best, when there are others who you know nothing about, that could easily outclass you in combat."
"Tch," Sasuke had that cocky look in his eye. "By saying that, you are essentially looking down on us, aren't you?"
Aiyanna paused, a mildly thoughtful expression on her face before she waved it off nonchalantly. "I guess, but then are you going to prove me wrong or stand there pouting?"
"Fine, this could be fun," he grinned.
"Wait, you'll fight her, but not me?" Lee demanded.
"I didn't challenge him," Aiyanna pointed out. "You're his opponent."
"No, Sasuke, we don't have time for this!" Sakura cut in. "We have to register by three o clock! That's less than half an hour!"
"Relax," Sasuke said, glaring up at Aiyanna. "This will all be over... in five seconds."
"Cocky little prince," Aiyanna thought to herself with an amused grin. "Well, then, let's see what you've got, Sasuke of the infamous Uchiha clan."
Sasuke charged straight at Lee, in a straightforward attack.
"Underestimating his opponent, strike one," she thought to herself. "He's also not even trying to deceive his opponent, strike two. On the other hand, it looks like this Lee guy is fast."
Lee had vanished, split seconds before Sasuke's attack would have struck. However, Sasuke was able to dodge the kick to his head, except when he became distracted by a hand sign that Lee made, receiving a kick to the face anyway.
"Failing to read through his opponent's movements," she concluded. "Strike three."
He hit the ground, hard, but still got up to try again. A smirk on his face, Aiyanna noticed something different about him.
"Ah...the Sharingan, huh?" Aiyanna couldn't help it as her grin spread wider. "Looks like he's finally taking this seriously... but this is not the time or place for this type of battle."
She quickly went through a series of hand signs, hidden from Sasuke's view since he was focused on Lee currently, and prepared to use her jutsu.
Except, Lee kicked Sasuke in the face again. Lee explained that he was just using taijutsu, which Aiyanna had already guessed since she'd seen his sensei around. They dressed exactly the same, it was hard to miss. Tsukiko had even mentioned that Nanami could go blow for blow against "Guy's protege" since her ability to read movements and attacks based off breathing and heartbeats was a little scary.
"So this is him, huh? Neato," she already had her jutsu primed, she just needed to time it right to catch them both off guard.
A kick to the face... they were hovering... she only had one shot.
"Wood Manipulation Technique: Living Binds!"
The floorboards came to life, twisting around the two shinobi and holding them firmly in place, even as they struggled.
"As fascinating as this was," Aiyanna said, standing up while still holding the seal, her usually violet eyes, now a warm woody brown. "I think this is where we stop and go our separate ways."
A weird little spinny thing struck one of the floorboards, and pulled the attention to a large, red... turtle? No, tortoise.
"Alright, that's enough!" it yelled.
Figuring the talking tortoise had things in hand, Aiyanna released the jutsu, allowing the floorboards to return to their normal position, and lowering the two boys to the ground gently.
"You... you were watching us the whole time?" Lee said, looking slightly anxious as he knelt in front of the tortoise.
"Of course! Although, I wasn't expecting one of Tsukiko's students to intervene and was prepared to do so myself!"
"So I saw," Aiyanna said, holding up the spinny thing. "Thanks for the souvenir."
She turned to leave, leaving Lee to be scolded by the... talking tortoise... when she saw a few familiar faces come charging in.
"WE ALMOST FELL FOR IT AGAIN!" Katsu yelled as he ran straight past the talking tortoise, beat up Sasuke, and almost straight into her.
"I told you we couldn't trust that dirtbag sensei!" Mikio yelled as he also ran past her.
"Guys, wait up!" Miniko whined as she yawned, running at a slower pace. "Maybe we can just try again next time?"
"No way!" Katsu yelled.
Aiyanna sighed, walking after them. "And just after I finished talking about how badass you were Mikio, I'm so disappointed."
