Tamed

The Party

Kelly smirked at me. "No" I said instantly.
"No? Not no, yes." She grinned before turning me to look in the mirror.
"I am not going out like this..."
"You don't have to, your mom as set it up here."
"What?" I felt my stomach turn in sickness, the room almost spinning. 
"Yep, so don't worry Amy, you won't even have to go outside." Kelly laughed before she pinned my hair up and smiled. "Sexy," She purred before walking to the door. "Be out and ready in five." Then with that she left.
I instantly took off the dress I was wearing, well I should say shirt cause how short it was, it dusgusted me.  I grabbed a flower patterned, corset dress. Putting it on, I zipped it up and began to work on the corset. A pair of hands grabbed the strings from me and I jumped in surprise. I went  to scream but a hand had stopped me.
"Please don't scream." Said a husky voice. I looked back to see Nathan, one of my best friends since I was in kindergarten. He moved away to a different place when he hit high school. I habe missed him ever since, seeing him took my sickness away. I smiled and moved his hand.
"Nate!" I said enthusiastically before I hugged him tightly.  My dress close to falling down at my sudden movemt, before he caught it in the hug. 

"Hey Bubbles" He chuckled. I blushed, he used the nickname he gave me from when we were six. The reason why cause i was always attacking bubbles like a puppy. He turned me back around and began to tighten my dress, tying it. "Happy Birthday." 

"Thank you, so what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Came to see you, it is your birthday. I had to come see you." he said sweetly before pulling away since he was done tying it. I turned to face him, still smiling. i probably looked like an idiot.  
"Well I'm glad you're here, I missed you!" I said before hugging him once again. He chuckled before pulling the pin from my hair which made it all tumble down my back. "There, much better. There's the Amelia I know."
"So are you here for the party my mother is throwing?"
He smiled. "Who do you think helped her."
My jaw nearly dropped. "Nate!" I said before he hugged me tighter.
"Well you need to have the best, it won't be long till you're luna."
I nodded. "I know, but...thanks" I said before he placed a hand on my back and guided me out of the room, downstairs to where a party was going on.
Both my parents were gone for the week, so it was only my older brothers: Carson and Bea. My parents must have taken Clara with them, since I didn't see her anywhere. Well she was six, she didn't need to be in something like this. What am I saying, I really didnt want to be in something like this. 

I looked around, to see Kelly walking over. "You change your dress and come down stairs with a boy? What happened in that five minutes?" She teased before hugging Nathan. "Its good to see you Nate."
"You too Kelly." he said before she grabbed both of our hands and dragged us out to the middle of the party. She grinned as I heard her shout something about dancing, over the music. Nathan obviously heard her since he snatched my hand, swung me into his arms and began to dance. It made me laugh since he was really a good dancer. "Free your moves like a bird learning to fly for the first time." He laughed before lifting me from the ground. 

The air shifted as he placed me on my feet and a voice made me freeze in place, along with Nate. "Amelia." I turned around to see Kane staring at me. 
"hi Kane." I said with a smile. He didn't smile back, infact he was glaring at Nate. "Are you alright?" I asked. He finally looked down at me and smiled slightly.
"Go get yourself a drink, Baby Girl" He purred before his turned his gaze back onto Nate.
"But I'm not thirsty..."
He looked back down at me before gently petting my cheek. "You need a drink, loosen up" He smiled.
I nodded going to get a drink and came back a little later, Kane and Nate standing there. Kane smiled while nate looked at me a little upset. "What happened while was gone?" I asked.
"Nothing." Nate said before lowering his head. "I'll let you two talk, I'm just gonna find some of my older friends and say hi" He said before walking away. I watched him walk before I looked at Kane.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.
He merely nodded before grabbing the hem of my dress and pulling me against him. "Yes. common, I believe I should get at least one dance with you..." He said before he took the drink from my hands and set it down.
His hands rested just above my waist. I placed my hands on his chest, laying my head there as well. We turned and I saw Nate staring at us, his eyes shot sadness and he turned his gaze away.  I was worried, and a little curious.  I would save him a dance, for sure.

After a while Kane pulled away and handed me back my drink. I took it and smiled. "I have to make a few calls. I'll be back" he said before pressing his lips against mine for merely a second before he vanished from sight in the crowd of people. My hand rushed to my lips before I shook my head and took a sip. nothing.
I saw Nate again and I signaled him over, my head feeling a little weird, but I went with it. Nate was soon over and I handed him my drink, he smiled and took a sip.
"So, who exactly was that?" he asked handing me the drink and I took a sip.
"Kane." I said handing it back to him. "He's my mate."
"Is he?" he said before he slammed the cup down onto the table, it was empty. We finished it.
"Yes" I retorted as he stepped closer.
"Lies" he barked, he brought me closer and I let him draw me in. His lips met my neck and he growled slightly. I could feel his wolf wanting to come out. 
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled myself closer. He lifted me up into his arms, my legs wrapping tightly around his waist. He walked me out of the room and to the hall closet. I rumbled and slipped my fingers into his hair. mate. Mate. MATE! The scent of dirt and earth hit my nose again, the scent of Kane? It was coming from Nate.
I moaned loudly before I moved my head down and smelt his skin, the scent was thicker. What on earth was happening. I soon felt a pair of teeth dig into my neck and my cry of pain instantly turned into a pleasured cry, Then every went blank.
