The start of a beginning...

His smile widened,  his arms wrapped around me, his head against mine. "Amy let me be here to protect you, I want to be with you, want to take care of both you and the baby." he said sweetly. My heart fluttered when he said this, his words were everything I wanted someone to say to me. 

"Yes," I mumbled as he pulled away to smile down at me. "And what you are saying is...?"

"Amy, will you accept me as your mate?" 

"I will."

By the time the day ended I was glad it did, Nate and I had a blast. spending the whole day together was amazing, everyone was gone and it was quiet. we were now driving. Nate thought it would be fun to go for a trip, we planned it for this weekend, just me and him and the surprise he had planned. I told Kelly about Nates reaction and she was pleased, she wanted to go out for dinner tonight, as a double date thing, I didnt know what she had planned but it was something. 

She told me to pack extra clothes and no phones. Normally I didn't like the sound of no phones but I knew everyone going and I knew I was safe. Bruce was driving, Kelly offered and that only meant Nate and I in the back, I didn't mind, I actually liked the sound of it. "Amy!" I heard Kelly yell from downstairs, "Come on, shit face, we need to leave!" I chuckled before I went to grab my bag. 

"My do you look fetching this evening, Miss Star." 

I whipped around and saw Nate smiling at the door, leaning against the frame. "Nate." I said happily as he walked up, tilting my head and gave me one sweet kiss. 

"Got you this," he said handing me a beautiful red and white rose. I took it carefully in my hands before I walked over to my dresser and placed it on my dresser. 

"It's beautiful Nate, thank you." I turned around only to be trapped against his chest in a hug. I smiled and hugged him back. 

"YOU TWO BETTER NOT BE HAVING SEX UP THERE! COMMON LETS GO! GAS ISN'T EXACTLY CHEAP!" 

Nate and I looked at eachother before we burst out laughing. He took my hand after I grabbed my bag and walked me out the door and down the stairs to Kelly who was smiling. "good, you're finally down, Bruce will kill us if we take any longer...so lets go!!" She sang like a banchee on the last part, running out the door. 

Once we got out there, there was Bruce leaning against his black truck. Kelly beside him, she was apologizing before she kissed his cheek. He smiled and turned to us. "Congradulations, on the both of you," he said with a grin, obviously Kelly told him about the baby. 

"Thank you," Nate said with a smile, his hand resting on my lower back. As this happened we walked to the truck.

Now normally I'm not the romantic type, I am a girl who's perfect date is to watch scary movies and order a pizza. Kelly on the other hand, is gushy for romance. Picnics in the park, romance movies, walks in the moon light. I have no idea how Bruce managed to swing her, even if they are mates. 

I mentally laughed, god that was an odd picture. Anyways, I had no bloody idea where we were going, Kelly had me blind folded through the whole car ride. It's like she doesn't trust me, or is it I shouldn't trust her? Whatever, the good news was I got to have Nate at my side the whole time, I laid my head on his chest as he held me close. I felt myself blushing, I hoped he didn't see it. 

That's when I heard it. He chuckled.

FUCK!

Well he obviously saw, dammit my cover was blown!
