The Sharpest Lives (Frerard)

chap 16

Gerard's pov

darkness. darkness and pain that's all i felt for i don't know how long. it was strange sometimes i could hear voices but others all i could do was lose my self in darkness the pain it was like burning. i felt cold and dead i tried to move but my body wouldn't respond.. 

franks pov

"Gerard please wake up baby its been 3 weeks. please wake up i cant live without you i need you to wake up " i say basically to my self flash backs from the last time we were here the exact same hospital come flooding back. only this time it wasn't his fault, this time someone had done this to him. His own mother. how could any one be evil enough to kill there own son. no frank he's not dead. not yet anyway, that thought sent my insides turning. i hadn't thought to call the police so she got away, mikey gave them her description and they were looking for her. i just hope they find her soon. 

mikey and ray walk in hand in hand mikeys face was red and puffy from crying. he gives me a sad smile " frank go home, have a shower we will stay with him. don't worry we will call you if anything happens strait away i promise" i stare blankly at him i guess i do smell a little since i hadn't showered in a week and 2 days i also could use a break, take a breather " yeah okay , ray can i take your car ?"he nods and gives me the keys i take them and walk towards the door. the bright sun light makes me groan and squint i feel the heat on my pale sickly skin. i find rays car and sit down i turn the engine on but i just sit there tears rolling down my face, tears of pain, sadness, anger and pure frustration i hit the accelerator and speed towards home.

As i round the corner i remember what happend that day if only i had been a few minutes earlier i remember seeing her face i reconised her strait away donna had gee's nose and mikey's eyes.suddenly  i realise i've stoped in the middle of the road with my eyes closed. i slowly pull into the drive and step out of the car and make my way towards the front door i heave it open and slouch inside i walk up the stairs and turn the shower on i take off all my clothes and turn the water to the hottest i step into the shower and close my eyes 

*flash back * 

im rubbing gees hair with the shampoo in runs down his body and fills the bathroom with the Delicious smell after we rinse his hair he does the same to me i run my hands up and down his body he tugs softly on my hair making me moan.

*end flash back*

after a long shower with my salty tears mixing with shampoo and water i step out and wrap a towel around my waist i walk into me and gees room and sigh it smells like him cigarettes and his Cologne i just sit on the bed and take it all in after my body was completely air dry and my hair was clumping i walk over to Gerard's draws and pull out one of his shirts and i put it on along with a pair of his trousers (yes i know i'm sad) as i turn away my arm knocks over gees bag some stuff falls out i kneel down and start to pick the stuff up until i see a little box and a note i unwrap the note first 

"frank iero 

you are the love of my life the reason i breathe the reason i wake up in the morning i want to wake up every morning and see your face for the rest of my life i want to be able to say that you are my husband i want to be able to say that we will be together for ever no matter if we make it with the band or if we don't i want you in my life forever. will you marry me "

i burst into tears as i finish reading the note i open the little box and inside is a ring with a small diamond inside it says "your be mine for ever and always " he was going to propose. he really does love me i put the ring and the note in my pocket light a fag and go back to the hospital i dont stop crying even when mikey shots me a worried look and askes if im okay. "he ... he was ... gonna ... propose to me" i hand mikey the note and he looks shocked but ray just looks sad " you knew ? " 

"yeah he asked me to pick it up for him" i smile he always could count on ray. i look over at mikey who is crying while reading the note he looks up " can i see the ring ?" i hand it to him and he studies the inside "wow its beautifull" he says and hands it back i nod it really was. out of no where comes a voice "thanks i picked it out my self !" we turn and gerard is awake and looking over at us i scream "gee your awake" i run tohis side and wrap my arms around him " i will marry you i love you so much and i want the whole world to know !" 

"umm frankie thats great and im really happy but your killing me here " he says with a chuckle i release him from my grasp and blush a bit but he cups my face so i know its okay "gee its great your awake !" says ray from the corner and mikey adds " yeah gee you hopeless romantic !" we all laugh and i look at gee he looks paler than usual but handsome all the same i sigh and kiss him on the cheek " i love you " i say in a soft voise " i love you too frankenweenie "
