The next day at the mall
"Here's your coffee." Amira handed me my Java Chip from Starbucks and she had the Caramel Frappuccino.
"Ooh you got my favorite." I gushed. "Of course I did." We began to walk around.
"So how's it going with you and Trigger?" Amira asked. "What do you mean?" She gave me a look. "Girl, don't try to act like I don't see what's going on with the two of you."
I blushed. "We're fine. Sorry I just try to avoid talking about him because I know you can't stand him." "No it's okay. Feel free. Give me aaaall the tea." I brightened up inside.
"Okay well... ugh, where do I even start?" I daydreamed. "He is so cute and charming. And honestly he is so much more sweet than I thought he would be."
Amira stared at me. "You're in love aren't you??" "What? No." I tried to give her a persuading look. "Dude, we literally just started going out."
"I can't believe you're actually dating that asshole. I never would've pictured a girl like you with him." Amira said in disgust, staring away. "He's actually really nice once you get to know him! I swear." "And probably one of the wildest people I've hung out with."
"What did y'all do?" I hesitated. "Eh, we may have snuck on top of a building at night and pelted people with eggs."
Her jaw dropped. "Hazel, what the hell?" "I know, I know, it was bad thing to do and I feel terrible." I said, quickly. "I'm telling you Haze, he's a bad example for you."
Suddenly, as if it were on cue, Trigger, Savage, and Crazy came down the escalator.
My jaw dropped and I gasped. "What?" Amira asked. "My boys!" I squealed. I ran up to them like a toddler seeing their mother again after a while. I gave them all big hugs. Amira just stood aside with her arms crossed and a stern look.
