After dinner Patrick and Kate are in the car and driving back to their apartment they just moved in after 7 months of dating... Kate's leaning against the window and Patrick is worried about her, as her phone keeps buzzing and she keeps looking at it and locking the screen back.
"Babe, is something wrong?" Patrick asks in a worried voice.
"No, its nothing." I say back trying to act like nothing's wrong.
Patrick grabs Kate's hand and squeezes it, "Baby just please tell me what's wrong?"
"My ex.... he keeps texting me saying that I'm a bitch and that he's going to make my life a living hell, and when he finds me he is going to hurt me and then he's going to tie you up and make you watch him rape me." I say in an angry voice.
"No, that guy will not lay his hands on you, if I have a say in it, I don't care how big or tough he might be, when I care about someone as much as I care about you, I'm gonna hurt him. Babe, don't listen to him." Patrick squeezes her hand. "I love you."
"You what? " Kate says in a shocked voice.
"I said, I love you." Patrick says.
"I love you too babe." Kate says back but in a worried voice.
Kate goes to morning practice to watch the boys when her eyes get covered and so does her mouth.
"If you scream, I'll kill him and all his teammates, you hear me you little bitch?" Darrell says in her ear.
She nods and goes with him, and that's the last time Patrick sees her for the day...
Later on after practice Patrick is waiting with Jon, Brent, Faith and Delaney for Kate to come down to the locker room area.
"Babe please pick up, I've called you over 36 times now, baby please." Patrick says in a worried, scared voice.
Jon walks over and pats his friends back, "It's going to be okay Pat, I'll have the guys meet us up here later and we can go search for her."
Patrick remembers something....
"Shittttt, she said last night that her ex was texting her and bothering her. He has her, lucky I put a tracker on her phone and she doesn't know it. Get Shaw and Bollig and lets go. Faith and Del stay here with the guys.... Hey Sharpie make sure the girls get home safely." Patrick says to Jon and Brent and then to Sharpie across the room.
"K man! Good luck!" Sharp says.
Bollig, Shaw, Seabrook, Toews and Kane all file into Patrick's new Jeep wrangler, that he got with his tax return check.
"Jon turn the tracker on, pleaseeee." Patrick says to Jon.
"K buddy, calm down we will find her."
The tracker starts beeping..... Hereeeeeee...... They all file out at a warehouse on the outskirts of Chicago...
"Bollig you go with me and Shaw you go with Tazer." Patrick says to the guys.
Bollig sneaks up behind Darrell and puts him in a head lock and fights him, getting multiple cuts and bruises on his arms. & Shaw runs to Bollig's rescue and kicks Darrell in the nuts.
"You ever touch his girl again, I swear to God, I will cut your balls off and make it look like an accident, you hear me?" Bollig and Shaw both say to Darrell and then spit on him.
Bollig and Shaw hold Darrell up and call Patrick over while Tazer stays with Kate.
"You listen here you bastard, if you so ever touched my woman, so help you God that I don't kill you right now in front of her. You even think about laying a hand on me and or her or the guys I will personally take matters into my hands and hurt you so bad that you won't be able to stand, you understand me? " Patrick kicks him and then walks back over to Kate and picks her up and carries her back to the car.
"Tazer drive, Shaw get up front... Bollig help me get her up in the jeep." Patrick barks orders.
We take her back to the house and let her rest...
