My dad doesn't seem to notice who is in the car. I am not even sure if he knows that this is my car or not; you would figure that he would know his daughter's car. Harry looks over at me, his eyebrows raised. Both out eyes are alive with panic. I know we can't drive away, my father would just give me a ticket, even though I'm his daughter. Holy shit! What are we supposed to do? Harry slowly hands over his license. My father's eyes widen when he recognizes the name on the license. He looks up at us, eyes narrowing. He notices me for the first time and glares at Harry.

"Want to explain what I just saw?" He asks slowly.

"I--" I can't even finish the statement; I just look away.

"Get out of the car," he commands.

"Dad--"

"I'm an officer, and I'm telling you to get out of the car!"

I shakily step out of the car. My father's gaze his heavy.

"Get into my car while I have a chat with Harry," he says.

"Dad, no!" I say. "I'm an adult--"

"Blair. Get in the car."

I slowly walk to his cruiser. I try to linger as long as I can to hear what my dad is saying to Harry, but alas I cannot hear a thing. I scowl at him and slide into the passenger seat of the cruiser. A sick feeling stirs in my stomach. I feel like I am going to prison, oh wait, I kind of am! My father leans on my car, sticking his head into the window. I can't see his facial expression, or Harry's. I know this can't be good.

Minutes later my father gets back into the cruiser, starting it and speeding off abruptly. "You won't be seeing Harry again," he says. "He will drop off your car later, but after that he will be erased."

"He's my best--"

"He was. He was your best friend. I won't tolerate anything more."

"I'm an adult--"

"So were your mother and I when we had you!" He bellows.

"We weren't doing anything!" I exclaim.

"That is not what I saw," my dad huffs.

"Is this about Harry and I or about you?" I demand to know.

"Blair, you are being unreasonable. I am your father and as long as you live under my roof, you will listen to me!"

"Then I'll move." I tell him.

"You don't have the money to move out, and even if you did, I wouldn't let you!"

"Why not? I'm only ruining your perfect little family!"

"What are you talking about?"

"Your perfect life with Jay and her kids!" I preface. "If it was up to you, mom and I would have never existed."

"You're wrong, and you know it." He pulls into the driveway. I get out of the cruiser, slamming the door behind me.

"Am I?" I question. I throw open the front door and don't even bother shutting it. I take the stairs two at a time and move quickly down the hall. I storm up to my room and lock the door behind me. Lottie isn't here, who knows where she is. I flop down on my bed, covering my face with my hands.

"Blair!" I hear my father call from downstairs. I can hear his steps as he moves through the house. I ignore his voice and pull my cell phone out of my back pocket. I scroll through the recents; Harry hasn't called or texted. I wonder what my father said to him. What could he have said that would make him not talk to me? Usually he would be blowing my phone up at this point. My finger hovers above his contact before finally committing and dialing his number.
