Not Mine

~Part 26~

(Wow this is officially my longest story yet, hope you enjoyed the last cliffhanger 😂, you may continue.)
"Yes... How'd you know my name?" Alex looked at her, confused.
"You don't remember me?"
"I- I feel like I do? But there's no way you're who I'm thinking of..."
"Well who are you thinking of?"
A tear rolled down Alex's face, "My wife... Eliza... She died though... Or so they think..."
"You... remember me..." Eliza started crying tears of joy before jumping into Alex's arms.
Alex quickly caught her and held her, "How could I forget you?"
"I thought maybe you'd work until you forgot."
"No, I'll never forget you! Let's go find John and Philip and go home!" They headed off in search of John and Philip. It didn't take long before they saw them.
John looked at them and asked Philip, "Who's with Alex?"
Philip looked over where he was looking, "M-mom?" He quickly started rolling over to her, "Mooooooom!!!!"
Eliza ran over to him, "You need to explain this, but later, I'm so glad to see you again!" She picked him up and hugged him tightly. Philip started crying tears of joy into Eliza's shoulder, "Let's go home."
She set him back down and they walked over to the car and started to drive home. Alex explained how they met some new people and asked if Eliza wanted to meet them or just go home to rest. He described them, of course as best he could, making them sound really amazing. She said she'd love to meet them, they seem to be great friends already.
Alex remembered Laurens, "Friends, yeah..."
"Is that wrong?"
"I- uh... John Laurens?"
"You're more than friends, aren't you?"
Alex nodded, "I guess..."
"Well that's actually fine, if you want you can keep.. like that?.. maybe have a 3-way thing?"
"That sounds amazing! We're almost there so I guess you get to meet everyone!" He drove another few seconds before pulling into J's driveway.
Everyone ran back outside to see them again, overwhelming them with "Hey! Welcome back! Who's that!? Wait!!!"
Alex finally cut them off, "Okay, relax everyone! Yes, this is Eliza." Alex looked over at J, who was staring at her, "J?" No response. "J!?" Still nothing. "LAURENS SNAP OUT OF IT!"
J shook his head rapidly and looked back at them, "Uhhh, hi? I'm John, but everyone calls me J."
Eliza smiled at him before looking back over at Alex. Alex simply nodded before J pulled him out of hearing distance, "Sooooo, wheeeew."
"So you'd be fine making a 3-some?"
"Fine? Oh man that would be dream come true!"
"Guess we're doin' it then!"
(And so Elams began.)
     They walked in and everyone pulled into a group hug for a minute before backing away again.
     Eliza looked back at Philip, "So... Leg, and all the scratches?"
     He told her what happened, adding "but I'm fine though" at least 20 times.
     "That doesn't sound like you're fine..."
     "But I am!"
     Eliza shook her head in disbelief, laughing, "Whatever you say, just don't get into too much more trouble."
Everyone headed inside and played games, watched T.V, and enjoyed themselves for the rest of the night.
(Faaaaaast forward about a year.)
"I can't believe they never called you in!" Herc told Laf.
"Me neither," Laf reponded, "Okayyyy Jack you can stop climbing on me nowww," he laughed, pulling Jack (The kid him and Herc adopted) off him.
A small, "No!," was heard and Jack jumped back on Laf.
"Hercccc helppppp," Laf started laughing, trying to get Jack back off.
Herc pulled Jack off and threw him over his shoulder.
"Weeeeee!!!!!"
"How would you like to go visit Alex, J, Eliza, and Philip?"
"PIP PIP PIP!!!!!"
"Alright!" Herc carried him out to the car and strapped him in the car seat.
"Noo, no more car seat!"
"You have to wait a couple more years, then no more, okay?"
"YAYAY NO MORE!"
Laf and Herc got in the car and they drove over to Alex, Eliza, and J's house. Herc helped Jack get out of the car, and Jack ran up to the house then started hitting the door, "PIP!! PIP!! PIP!!"
J opened the door, and Jack ran right past him into the house. J started laughing and called out, "Someone's excited to be here."
Laf and Herc walked up to the house before Herc said, "Guess so, he really wanted to see Philip." They walked in to see Jack already on Philip, who was laying on the ground, laughing. "Glad someone's enjoying themself already," Herc started laughing.
Philip stood up, picking Jack up with him, "Okayyy, that was funnnn."
Jack started hitting his arm, "More, More, More!"
Philip set him down and grabbed his arm, "Wow, you got strong!"
Jack stood on Philip's feet, "Walk!"
"Okay, okay, calmmmm down," Philip lightly held him and started walking around, Jack moving with him.
"Fasterrrrr!" Jack stomped on Philip's foot, and Philip started walking around faster, "Yaaaa, fuuuun!"
Philip scooped him up and started bouncing him.
"Airplane!"
"Alriiight, arms out!" Philip held onto Jack's stomach and legs and started spinning in circles, "mmmrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmm"
"No! Pip, that's motorcycle!"
"Then what sound does an airplane make?" He laughed.
"Weeeuuuwwww woooossshhhhh"
"Alright, whatever you say!" He kept laughing and spinning him around.
     Everyone else sat around, smiling and laughing at watching Jack and Philip. Everything was going great, then they heard a knock on the door.
     "I'll get it," Alex stood up and went to answer the door, "Hey!" He looked back at everyone, "Guys! John, James, and Maria are here!" He invited them in and went back to the living room.
     Maria looked at Eliza, "Hey..."
     Eliza looked back, "Hey, umm... So.. I actually forgive you, believe it or not, fresh start?"
     Maria's face turned to shock, "Uh- wow.. really? Sure!"
     They smiled at each other before hearing Philip quietly call out, "Little help here?" They looked down and Jack was clinging onto Philip's head. Eliza quickly got up and went over to get Jack before Herc made it and took Jack from her.
     "Thanks for getting to that faster than me," Herc laughed.
     "Anytime," she started laughing with him.
     They sat around for a few more minutes before J went to the kitchen and got a bottle of wine from the cupboard, "Anyone?"
     Alex looked over at him, "Dude, there are kids here!!"
     "Pff, soooo?"
     Alex facepalmed before walking over, taking the bottle from J, and putting it back, "Maybe when there aren't kids here..." He said through clenched teeth.
     "Ugh fine," he responded before whispering, "killjoy..."
     "What did you just call me?"
     "Nothing... You're right, it can wait," J headed back over to the living room. Alex shook his head before following him.
     They continued sitting around, laughing at the occasional random joke, and telling weird stories.
     Everything seemed to be back to normal, at last!

(Wow this story... Okay of course I still have to write the 'all-famous' epilogue that I put on all my stories 😂 Oh but what is the epilogue? It basically explains everyone's life after the story, so I'll try to have it up by the end of the night!)
