Happily Ever After

Night sweats

       I woke with a start as I felt my heart beating out of my chest and sweat dripping down my body. My breath was coming in shallow spurts, and stomach felt like I was going to up chuck anything I've ever even thought about eating.
     I shot out of bed and almost face planted as I booked it to the bathroom.
     After a solid twenty minutes of unlady like barfing, I laid my head against the tub, grateful for the cooling effect of the tile. I knew my breath reeked from the vomit, but I just couldn't gather the energy to get off the floor and locate my toothbrush. I laid there beyond exhausted for god only knows how long before I heard Nathan cautiously open the bathroom door.
     "Are you okay?" He asked tenderly, worry apparent in his raspy voice.
     "I'm okay, it's just morning sickness. Apparently it's not only in the morning." I croaked, trying to crack a smile.
    "What can I do to help?" He asked, bending down so he could look me in the eyes. I looked up and shook my head gently.
    " I think I had a nightmare, and that's what brought it on. Honestly I'm okay, I'm already starting to feel better. If you'll help me up we can go back to bed."
     Nathan carefully helped me to my feet, and caught me from falling back down, when my balance hadn't quite returned. He gingerly walked me to the bed and helped me lightly back into bed. He pulled the covers up around my sweaty body, and kissed me tenderly.
    "I meant what I said last night, when I told you I loved you, Anna." He whispered into my ear, after he crawled into bed next to me. "I love you, and our little baby boy."
    I smiled, completely content, and fell quickly back to sleep.

Guys I'm so crappy about updating but I literally have no idea where to go with this story anymore. I know so many of you love it and want me to continue, but I just don't know what to do with it. I honestly don't know if I'll finish it, But here's a little something.
