Everyone is bustling about. That's the first thing I notice when I enter the dining hall. Almost nobody is eating but there are a few scarfing down some pancakes. The rest are going in and out the kitchen, some are wiping down tables and some are bringing food to a long, long, long table to the side.
"What's happening?" I ask a lady who's fixing a painting on the wall.
"Alpha Will's brother is coming back home," she replies and resumes to her task.
I walk over to the middle of the room and am nearly bulldozed over by a woman carrying a ton of stacked plates. She mutters an apology and scurries off to who-knows-where.
I take another step and I'm shoved by a lady scrubbing a table. I groan. Can't I go anywhere without being assaulted?
You know what, I'll just skip breakfast. I'll go and find Hunter or Jace.
I walk outside to see Jace and Hunter throwing a football.
"Guys!" I call out. They see me and Jace yells, "'Sup Elle!" and throws the ball to Hunter who's momentarily distracted as he's waving at me. The football hits him in the gut and he crumples to the ground.
"Man, you are too nice! Never wave or lose focus when we're playing," Jace tuts and wags his finger in disappointment at Hunter.
Hunter uses this opportunity to hurl the football back to Jace. Jace merely catches the ball and laughs. Hunter groans in defeat while I help him up.
When Hunter was up we head back to the house.
"What is happening?" Jace frowns and looks around.
Hunter smacks him on the back of his head and says, "Austin's coming back home remember?" He groans and pretends to be disappointed. I crack up while Jace rubs his head.
"Oh, when?" Jace asks with such innocence he beats a two-year old.
"You are a wreck." Hunter raises his arms in surrender then puts his arm around my shoulders and leads me away from Jace.
"Hey! Don't leave me! I want to join you little sorority!"
Hunter and I laugh as he follows us.

"ELLE! It's been an hour!" Jace yells from my bedroom. I throw another dress down and groan.
"Did you not hear me? I--"
I open the door in annoyance and yell back, "Yes, I heard you the first time! And the time before that! It's not easy being a girl with nothing to wear!"
"Just put on a shirt and pants, no one will care! And why are you yelling?!" He yells back, looking crazed as his shirt's dishiveled and he's sitting on my bed.
"Because you are!" With that, I slam the door to my closet again. I see something shiny on the far end of my closet.
I approach it and see a silver sleeveless dress. I must have missed that while I was tearing down my closet. I grab it and see that it fits perfectly. It reaches to just above my knees and the collar isn't too low or too high.
"I'm done!" I spin around when I leave my closet. I stop when I see Jace and Hunter sprawled out on the bed.
"Finally!" Jace shoots up causing Hunter to fall from the bed and he hits his head on the bed post. He winces in pain and mutters a series of curses, no doubt for Jace.
"Why am I the battered one in this relationship?" he complains and stands up.
"Come on, hurry up!" I run out of the room which I tell you is not easy as I'm wearing a dress. Good thing I didn't wear wedges.
