"Happy birthday Elle!" the pack says. Austin comes over to me holding a simple cake with the words 'Happy 20th Birthday Luna!'
"Awww," I say. I blow on the candles, wishing for one thing. I give a speech thanking them all for the effort and took a seat.
"What did you wish for?" Austin asks me, sitting down in a chair he pulled up next to me.
"If I tell you then it won't happen," I say, winking at him. He takes my hand and pulls me up. Even after these years, we both still feel sparks when we touch each other. He pulls me to the dance floor and we dance all night.

"Are you sure you want to do this now, Elle?" Austin asks. "We've been putting this off for a few years now. We can still wait."
"No, I want to do this now," I say firmly.
"Okay, your call," he mumbles.
I nod, taking the envelope from him. I rip it open, and see a syringe with some blue liquid inside and a letter.
I take the letter first, unfolding it slowly, unsure if I should read it. Austin looks at me with concerned eyes. I take a deep breath and start reading.
Dear Elle,
We haven't been completely honest with you. Even with your name. And for that, we're sorry. But it had to be done at the time.
Your name's not Elle Victoria Anderson. It's Bellatrice Summers. (I know, weird considering your parents mixed Bella with Beatrice.) We changed it for the following reasons: One, your parents told us to. Two, your name was wanted in both wolf and hunter sides, because your father was a Hunter and your mother was a werewolf. We had no choice but to change your name. Three, you needed to pass as our sibling. Haven't you noticed out names? Adrian Zoel. Ben Yohanne. Chris Xander. Dean William. And yours, Elle Victoria. Our first names' first letters consisted of the alphabet from oldest to youngest, and our second names descending.
When you were young, we erased a part of your memories. This is for your safety, and only your safety. You may remember bits and pieces. We also erased your memories when you were training with us at the Enterprise. This was selfishness on our part.
Do you remember the guy with the blue eyes who was watching you before at school? He was just somebody we sent to watch over you and make sure you weren't doing anything wrong.
We also found out you had a mate. Wink wink. Is it the big, bad Alpha?
After reading that I look up at Austin with flaming cheeks. "Keep reading," he says, his ego probably inflating.
Hope he treats you well. He better do.
For all the times that we attacked the pack house, we're sorry. But we're doing it all for you, which we now realize is selfish. We could have just asked for you.
Elle, all your memories are in the syringe. It's your choice whether to take it or not. There are some... not very pretty images in there.
If you ever need us, we're heading up North, recreating ourselves. We love you Elle.
Ben, Chris, and Dean
I take the syringe with shaky hands. "Do you need help with that?" Austin asks, seeing my shaky state. I nod feverishly, handing the syringe over to him.
"Three," he starts.
"I don't do well with countdowns, just do it," I say, bracing myself.
I feel the needle poking my brain, and I welcome the darkness.
