One week later

Alexa pov.

Today I'm getting out of the hospital witch I'm really happy about but then again I'm not happy about the people I'm leaving with. They called my mom and dad to come get me. They drove from Texas to Miami just to pick me up. I know what your thinking I should be happy that my parents are here but I'm not! I don't want to go back with them. I want to be with Carter ! I know I had it rough with him and things haven't always been great but I love him and morning is going to change that. The think that sucks the most is that today is Carter's hearing and I have to be there cuz my parents thought it would be a great idea to make another police report and they brought up the night I was taken and ugh I really hate my parents. Why can't they just understand that I love him and he isn't a bad person when you get to know him.

"Miss Hanson"

"Miss Hanson" the doctor said again making me jump a little.

I wonder how long he has been standing there?

"Huh what " I said a little confued on what he was saying because I was so into my thoughts

"Your free to go now. Just remeber all the stuff we went over about resting and not being in a stressful environment"

"Yeah like that's going to happen" I spat back. Since Carter's arrest I haven't been in the best mood in fact I have been really snappy I kinda sound like carter. Wow I have been hanging around him way to long that when I'm mad I get really snappy.

"You ready to go now honey" my mom said while walking into the room

"No not at all" I snapped back

She looked kind of disappointed that I wasn't happy about going home but i mean could you blame me ! I love Carter and they are trying to have him put in jail for life !

"Here I brought you some stuff so you can change out of those gross cloths" she said referring to Carter's sweat pants and a plain white tee.

"No I'm not fucking changing I'm fine in what I'm wearing Helen!

Wow did I really just call my mom by her first name ? I really have change but you know what I like the new me !

"Watch your mouth young lady" she said as he back handed me.

After she hit me that was it. I couldn't take it ! I did the last thing I ever thought I would ! I hit her back, and to be completely honest if felt good !

"DONT YOU EVER LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME AGAIN ALEXA IM YOUR MOTHER NOT ONE OF YOUR LITTLE GANG FRIENDS" she yelled at me while holding her eye.

"YA YA KEEP TELLING YOUR SELF THAT YOU NOT MY MOM YOUR JUST SOME BITCH WHO MADE DAD LEAVE AND NOW YOUR DOING THE SAME TO ME AND CARTER" I yelled back then walked out of the room. I know I was a little harsh but you know what she pushed me way to far when she hit me. I'm just ready to get to the court house so I can get carter out. I have a plan and I'm just going to go with it weather I get into trouble or not.

Carter's pov

Today is my hearing witch I'm not looking forward to at all. I already know what they are going to say I'll be going to prison. Hell I might be better off in there at lest I won't hurt Alexa anymore and she can go back and live a happy normal life with her family. What she doesn't know tho is that they know about me killing Alexa dad. We ended up finding him a week later after he shot me and I kill him. I have no regret either he got what was coming for him. With him out of the way Alexa can go home and have a normal safe life away from me. I know that's what she truly wants she may not admit it but I can see it in her eyes she misses her family.
