Chapter 22

Alexa pov:

It's been two days since I had the Miscarriage and well it's been really hard. It's even harder that I don't have the support from Carter he hasn't said two words to me. Well I take that back he has talk to me but most of the stuff that has come out of how mouth hasn't been anything nice. He hasn't gone hundred percent back to his old ways but he is pretty damn close. Witch scares me because it was nice him not taking his anger out on me. Thank gosh he hasn't hit me but he has pretty damn close to hitting me.

Today I have to go to the doctor witch means that I have to talk to carter today since ones again he is my only ride. With that said I probably should go find him.

"CARTER" I yelled from the top of the stairs.

"WHAT DO YOU NEED ALEXA" he snapped back, well this is just great he is in a bad mood. Why is he always in a bad mood when I need something from him.

" my doctors appointment is at 1:30 so I need you to drive me there please" I said calmly so I wouldn't set him off. That the last thing I need right now.

"What time is it right now" he answered back calmly witch made me happy that he was going to flip out.

"It's 12:30 now and it take about 20 mins to get there"

"Alright let me get some shoes then we can go" wow he is being really nice. Should I be worried ? I thought to myself.

"Okay baby, I love you"

He didn't say anything back to that. To be honest I don't even know why I said it I guess I just wanted to see what he would say back and I definitely didn't get the response that I wanted but I'll just have to work on that. It sucks to have to make the one you love fall back in love with you all the time. It's like one day he loves me and the next he hates me and wants to like kill me.

The saddest part is that he has come so close to killing me. I can remember that day like it was yesterday. I was out cold for two damn days and till this day carter still could care less.

"Let's go" carter said making me jump a little.

We where now in the car it was quiet but shockingly it wasn't an awkward silence. That when everything happened.

"CARTER LOOK OUT" I yelled but it was too late everything happen so fast the next thing I knew everything was becoming blurry and all I could hear was Carter's voice it sound broken and scared.

"ALEXA BABY PLEASE ANSWER ME" was the last thing I heard till everything went black.

Carter's pov:

"CARTER LOOK OUT" Alexa yelled but by the time I saw what she was yelling about it was two late the the 18 wheeler had already slammed into the side of my red range rover. Everything happened so fast and I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes. But the only person on my mind was Alexa. I could hear her breathing become more shallow by the second.

"ALEXA BABY PLEASE ANSWER ME" I yelled at her but she didn't answer. All she did was look up at me then her eyes closed. You could say I was a mess right now. I had tears pouring out of my eyes and the only thing that went though my mind was gilt. The last thing I said to the love of my life was mean and curl. Hell I didn't even tell her I loved her today when she said it.

I tried to call 911 but it was so hard to reach my phone. My leg was crushed in between the door and the seat and my phone was in my pocket. When I finally got it I could brealy see the screen though all the tears in my eyes.

" 911 what's your emergency" the lady on the other end of the phone said.

" please someone help me and my girlfriend where just in a really bad car accident. Plase hurry my girlfriend isn't responding to me please help us." I cried into the phone. I was trying to be a strong as I could but I failed every time I look over at Alexa. She was laying on the hood of my car. I didn't even know she wasn't wearing her seat belt.

"Sir please calm down. Panicking isn't going to help. Where are you at ? Help is on the way" she said back.

"How the fuck are you going to tell me to stay calm when my girlfriend is laying on the hood of my car not breathing." I spat back. I can't belive she would say. Of course I'm panicking the love of my life won't respond to me. The only thing I can think of is that she is dead and gone for ever.

" please don't leave me Alexa" I cried out. " please" was the last thing I said before things stated to seem like they where moving in slow motion. The next thing I know I'm being taken out of my car and put on a stretcher.

"What's your name son" the paramedic asked me.

"C-carter" I mumbled. I couldn't really talk I felt my body becoming numb and weak

" okay carter I'm going to need you to stay with me"

"Okay" I mumbled again.

"Can you tell me who was in the car with you"

"Alexa my girlfriend, is she okay where is she"

"She is on her way to the hospital now she has to be air lifted out" when he said that I started to panic again. Everything stated to become blurry again.

"Carter stay with me"

"I love you so much Alexa" was the last thing I said before everything went dark.
