Alexa pov

"D-d-dad" ? Is can't be real ! I must be dreaming. I keep repeating over and over again in my head that I'm asleep right now.

This is just a dream! Wake up Alexa wake up !!

But as much as I yell at myself in my head to wake up it's not happening my dad is sill standing in front of me. But how? Last time I checked he was dead ! My mom told me my dad past away ! I was 10 years old ! I remember that day clearly.

Flashback

" mom is everything okay" I said when I walked in the house after my mom came and got me from school early. She cried the whole way home. But she won't tell me what's going on. " m-mom please tell me what's wrong"

"God damn it Alexa can't you just shut up, not everything is about you" she spat back. Something really bad must of happen cuz she only blames everything on me when her and my dad have a really bad fight and most of the time those fights consist of my dad hitting my mom.

"MOM STOP BLAMING ME FOR EVERYTHING I DONT EVEN KNOW WHATS GOING ON" I yelled back. It was true I didn't have the slightest clue of what happened.

"He's gone and you don't even care...... He's gon- she cut her self off when tears started to pour from her eyes again. "Your father he is dead"

"What mom are you kidding me, if this is a joke it's not funny" I said whole tears started to form in my eyes. When she didn't answer back I ran over and hugged her as tight as I could. We stayed like this for at lest a good 40 mins just crying. Till I finally gained the strength to pull away from the hug.

"W-what happened to h-him"

She looked up and my and wiped some of the old tears from her face before she began talking.

"I just got the call mins before I came to pick you up, they found his car on the side of the road, when they walked up to the car he was dead, Alexa he died in a car reck on the way to get you to take you to your stupid fucking cheer comp. YOU DID THIS TO HIM. She yelled. "I HOPE YOUR HAPPY" she yelled again before storming out of the room.

End if flashback
( sorry about the confusion I know I said that she had a dad but that's her step dad. Her real dad was the one that "died" )

Till this day my mom still blames me for the death of my dad. But from what it looks like know he isn't dead.

"Hey honey, I missed you" my dad said while getting up from his seat and walking over to me. When he got to me he placed his hand on my face but not for to long when I moved my head.

"Don't fucking touch me, you have been alive all this time ! It's been 9 years dad 9 FUCKING years I thought that you were dead! Do you know how that feels" I spat back trying to hold back the tears as much as I could. I can't look weak around him.

"Bitch" he yelled while slapping me across the face ! Being my hand up to my face my cheeks started to become wet, fuck it I'm weak and he knows it. " I'm just here to do what I should have done a long time ago" he said while pulling out a knife and putting it to my neck.

This is it I'm going to die.

Carter pov.

"ALEXA" I yelled agin, I have been looking all over the house for her. I have no clue where she could have gone. She isn't answer my text or calls. Something must be wrong. She always answers even when she is mad at me.

"Carter in here" Alex yelled from the other room

"What" I spat back while running over to him.

"Here I found this on the table" he diss handing me a letter that said

Dear, carter

We have Alexa. You didn't do a good job hiding her from me now didn't you ! Here the deal. You have 24 hours to try to find her witch I know you won't. But when that 24 hours is up. She is a gonner and I will get what I have always wanted. Her dead !

"FUCK" I yelled this wasn't suppose to happen I was suppose to keep her safe, now look what I did. If I don't find her I'm the next 24 hours he will kill her.

She will be dead and it will all be my fault cuz I failed to protect her.

I can't lose her.

Okay so in the beginning when she talked about her mom and dad missing her. Her dad is her step dad. Sorry for the confusion.
