"10,000 won for four? Hey the guy across the street sells 10,000 won for five!" JiEun raised her voice and bargained with the street vendor, "Look at these CD cases...they are falling apart..."
"Alright alright! 10,000 won for five then!" The street vendor did not want to hear JiEun's annoying high pitch anymore. He would rather earn less to save the trouble.
JiEun happily paid and walked away with her CDs. Then she realized a luxury car stopping beside her.
"Hi." ChanYeol greeted.
JiEun rolled her eyes, trying to think if she should hop on the car or not. She was moved, seeing this Mercedes Benz.
"It's no stopping here! I don't want a ticket!" ChanYeol paced. JiEun smiled and got on. He drove away.
JiEun fiddled with the leather seat and peeked at him, "Why are you here? This time of the day, a married man should be home, watching TV with his wife, each holding a slice of orange..."
Of course ChanYeol would not tell her about the private life between him and GaHye. He tried to find something to say, "I saw you bought something."
"Oh right! They are good CDs and good deals! 10,000 won for five." JiEun bragged and tried to put one in his cd player, "We can listen to it..."
"Stop!" ChanYeol screamed. He did not want these strange pirate CDs to go into his loving stereo system.
"Ok!" JiEun curled her lips and put the CDs in her bag. She raised it up, "By the way, thanks for your gift."
ChanYeol shrugged his shoulder, "Going home now?"
"It sounds like you still want to hang out for a bit." JiEun caught it.
"I'm not the type who goes to bed at 10." ChanYeol asked, "You have any suggestion?"
JiEun looked out the window and pointed, "I've never been to the lounge of this 5-star hotel! I always see it in the magazines that lots of famous singers go there all the times!"
"ok." ChanYeol turned into the parking lot and hopped out. He walked towards the lounge and JiEun tailgated closely.
"You sure know the way. Do you always come here?" JiEun wondered.
"Just a few times for business." ChanYeol and JiEun sat down at a table. It was a weekday and the place was not too busy.
JiEun picked up the menu and read carefully. She saw the prices and opened her eyes widely.
"What are you having?" ChanYeol waved the server over.
"Hm, I know...let me think..." JiEun tried to pick a name from this English menu that she can pronounce it out.
ChanYeol helped her out and told the server, "Two cappuccino please." The server nodded and walked away.
JiEun still tried to act, "Yes...cap-pu-cci-no...I was going to order that anyway...the coffee with...cream and bubbles..."
ChanYeol chuckled and shook his head. He leaned back and closed his eyes to relax.
"You haven't called me ever since we came back from Guam." JiEun looked at ChanYeol, "It's been two weeks."
"I thought I just saw you yesterday at our office, looking at the edited video of the show." ChanYeol smiled, "I remember saying 'Hi' to you."
"Yes, but you had the same face towards other people too." JiEun crossed her arms, "You treated me like 'the other people'."
