JiEun mumbled over the phone, "...oh that janitor thing...I forgot about it already...who has time to deal with these people...I just wanted to freak him out. It's fun to see his scared face, haha..."
"Don't cause him any trouble. I'm sure he didn't mean it. It's bad if he loses his job just because of that." HyeMin advised JiEun.
"Ok ok." JiEun did not want to hear anymore.
"You went to visit Sister Maria at the hospital this morning. How's she doing?" HyeMin asked caringly.
"So so." JiEun sighed softly, "She asked about you. I told her you're busy and she understands. She knows you always have lots of stuff to do...work and study tons of classes at night school."
"Too bad my boss changed my shift schedule and I can't go with you." HyeMin worked as a cashier at the supermarket, "I don't have night class tomorrow. I will go after work."
"Good. She'll be happy to see you. Hey that TV show is starting. Talk later." JiEun put down the remote.
"Ok. Bye for now." HyeMin said.
"Bye!" JiEun hung up and phone and lay flat on the sofa with her eyes staring at the TV. She reached at the coffee table and grabbed another roasted peanut. She popped it in her mouth, and casually threw the shell away. On the floor was a scatter of empty shells, along with some other junks like potato chips bags and empty pop cans. Suddenly, she heard the sound of the keys. Soon, the door opened and ChanYeol walked in.
"Why are you coming tonight?" JiEun was surprised.
"I feel like coming by. Why? You are hiding a man in the house?" ChanYeol scanned around.
"Of course not!" JiEun stood up and wiped her hands on her pants, while still munching the peanuts.
ChanYeol spotted the dirty floor and the garbage, "What the heck?" He went into the bedroom and took off his shirt.
JiEun shrugged her shoulder, "The maid will clean that up tomorrow anyway."
"I'm not paying the rent for you to collect junks! Clean that up right now! I don't want to see anything on the floor after I come out from the bath." ChanYeol went into the bathroom.
"Yes, sure." JiEun squeezed out a smile. After ChanYeol shut the door, JiEun froze her face and mumbled, "This is not easy money." She paced to the kitchen and grabbed the broom.
Two minutes later, ChanYeol suddenly came out in his bathrobe, "JiEun where's my shower gel?" He walked out to the living room and saw the clean floor.
"I'm cleaning up! I'm cleaning up!" JiEun bent down and rubbed the floor with a wet towel.
ChanYeol bursted out a chuckle. He felt amused by her action, "That was quick."
JiEun was glad.
"Forget about the floor for now. You come and look for my shower gel for me." ChanYeol turned around and walked back to the bathroom.
"I've bought a new one for you. It's said to have an aromatic stress relief function." JiEun tailgated, "Let me prepare the hot tub for you. Do you need massage?"
An hour later.
"...Ouch! What's stinging me?" ChanYeol pushed her away and abruptly sat up. He picked the thing up from the bedsheet and turned on the bedside lamp, "What? A peanut shell? There're peanut shells everywhere in the house...including the bed!"
"Oops. I was eating peanuts on the bed last night." JiEun whispered.
"You're a nuts-maniac!" ChanYeol warned her, "You'd better clean up the entire house and check on every corner! Next time when I come, I don't want to see any more of these stupid shells lying around! Otherwise, you are out the door with your peanuts."
