"May I help you with anything?" A sales girl greeted instantly.
"Hm..." ChanYeol scanned around, "Can I have a look at the chest accessories?"
"Sure." The sales girl led them to a rack. She took out a few for them to select. ChanYeol picked up two and flashed back and forth.
GaHye looked at the crystals, "ChanYeol, are you sure YooRa likes these chest accessories?"
"Huh?" ChanYeol wondered, "She likes them...I think. Why?"
"Of course you know your sister better than me. I've never met her before. But I think, with her age, she might not be a fan of these chest accessories, unless she always goes to formal parties and wears gowns." GaHye analysed.
"You sound right. You two are about the same age." ChanYeol put them down, "What would you suggest?"
GaHye pointed, "Can we look at those earrings? Hm, those two pairs on the right hand side." The sales girl took them out.
ChanYeol smiled, "They are cute little dangling styles."
"Now you, the brother, have to decide on the colour." GaHye smiled.
ChanYeol looked at the two and thought for a moment. Finally, he made up his mind, "I'll take this light purple one. YooRa is a 'purplish' girl." He took out his credit card and paid.
GaHye took out some money and handed to ChanYeol, "May I chip in for half? This is my first gift to her."
"Sure!" ChanYeol blinked and took the bills, "I'll remember to put your name on her birthday card and give you credits for the gift, don't worry!"
They left the shop. GaHye noticed ChanYeol carrying the gift preciously, "ChanYeol, I'm sure you love YooRa a lot."
"Of course, she's my little sister. We love each other." ChanYeol smiled sweetly.
"How about your elder brother JunMyeon?" GaHye only saw JunMyeon and his family a couple times during family gatherings. It seemed that ChanYeol and JunMyeon did not get along too well.
"Well, we were closer when we were little. JunMyeon used to protect me from being bullied by other kids when we went to the park. We played baseball together...But ever since he left to study, when he returned, I went to Canada, and then afterwards we started working for dad...somehow we aren't as close as before. Later of course he got married and moved out. We seldom see each other and talk. I guess things just change when you grow up." ChanYeol felt comfortable talking to GaHye about his childhood and family relations.
"I have a few step siblings. Of course we live apart and don't feel like a family at all." GaHye advised, "ChanYeol you should treasure your siblings...your closest family related by blood."
"Alright, I know. It's just hard to do." ChanYeol understood, "By the way, I'm glad that I bring you along today to shop for the gift. Frankly, I trust your taste." After living together for a while, ChanYeol realized the best to describe GaHye was truly an elegant lady.
GaHye was glad for his praise.
He tilted his head, "And of course you should understand YooRa's preferences. You two are about the same age. You two are both little girls."
"ChanYeol, I am not a little girl. I am not." GaHye bit her lips.
I am your wife!
"Alright you are a grown up, huh?" ChanYeol comforted her, "Let's go and eat!"
After dinner, the couple casually walked along the street.
"I need some exercise! I'm so full after the dinner!" ChanYeol seemed to enjoy the dinner very much.
