ChanYeol decided to send one of the women off. He picked the easier choice, "GaHye, why don't you go to shop around first. I'll meet you at the mall in half an hour. Then we can go to the restaurant together." The couple was having dinner together at an Italian restaurant nearby.
"Sure. No rush, ChanYeol. Just finish you work first. If you need more time, call me, ok?" GaHye was considerate.
"See you later." ChanYeol felt relieved. JiEun stole a look at him and sneered.
"And JiEun, nice to see you again." GaHye smiled and walked away. Poor innocent GaHye who had no clue to what was happening behind her back.
The secretary packed up and said to her boss, "Mr. Park, if there isn't anything you need me for, I am leaving a bit early today. I'm rushing to my cousin's wedding banquet."
"Go ahead. Goodbye and have fun at the banquet." ChanYeol stared at JiEun, "JiEun, come in. I need to talk to you."
JiEun expected it. After the secretary left, she followed ChanYeol in and he slammed shut the door.
"That's so nice of you that you always have to bring documents over. You should have asked your office assistant do the delivery." The receptionist smiled.
SeHun shrugged his shoulder, "We know your accounting manager needs this legal file for tomorrow morning's meeting. Our office assistant is far in BunCheon delivering things, so I thought I will just bring it over. It's on my way home anyway." He tittered, "It gives me an excuse to leave a bit early from work too!"
The receptionist chuckled at this gentle, rather quiet guy from the law firm. She was happy to see him, who came by once in a while. "Ok, I will bring this to Mr. Lee."
"Thanks. I will wait for a while to see if Mr. Lee has any questions." SeHun was a responsible person.
"Sure. Have a seat first." The receptionist appreciated his work attitude. She took the documents and walked inside.
SeHun casually waited at the reception. He wandered around, flipping through SPAO's promotion catalogues. Just as he spun his head, he froze.
"GaHye?" SeHun was surprised, and then turned happy, "What a coincidence!"
GaHye was surprised too. She did not know what to say, "Hi...SeHun. Why are you here?"
"For work. I need to bring some documents over. How about you?" SeHun looked at GaHye which made her feel uneasy and dropped down her head. "GaHye, hm...how are the beans?"
"...beans?" GaHye did not recall instantly.
SeHun smiled at her, "The beans I gave you last time!"
"Yes...really good. I made some salad with them. Thanks SeHun." GaHye mumbled.
"GaHye...remember last time..." SeHun did not want to miss the chance again, "Do you have time to go for coffee now? Oops, it's almost dinner time. Hm, how about dinner together tonight?" He anticipated.
"SeHun, I..." GaHye was thinking of the best way to turn him down. He was a nice guy and she did not want to hurt him.
"Hey SeHun, Mr. Lee said the file looks ok. He asked me to thank you." The receptionist's voice interrupted. She saw GaHye and instantly greeted respectfully, "Leaving for dinner now, Mrs. Park?"
SeHun was absolutely shocked. He just stood there, looking at GaHye without saying a word. The receptionist definitely did not realize what was happening. She took her purse and waved goodbye, heading to her after work events.
