ChanYeol had his problem with the designer stuck in his mind. This night, when they were going to bed, GaHye found out he was scratching his head off on some work matters, and asked him about it. ChanYeol explained the story to her.
"Now at this moment, your target is to find out all the information about the new fabric, Kontia." GaHye thought.
"Yes." ChanYeol had a headache, "We only have two more days."
"Two days. How much can we do?" GaHye suggested, "Let's list out your information on hand, and what else you need to find out."
"Good suggestion!" ChanYeol agreed.
They left the warm bed and went into ChanYeol's study. They sat down, and ChanYeol instantly started jotting down notes.
"Do it step by step. Calm down and we can think clearly." GaHye was never a rushing person. Her calm but wise personality and thoughtfulness was excellent in problem solving.
ChanYeol wrote down some notes, "I think that's about it."
GaHye looked at it, "Not too bad, at least you've got some basic ideas." Her comforting words boosted up ChanYeol's confidence.
"But that's still not enough for me to chat with that designer. With what I know about the fabric, at this point, I can probably talk for two minutes and then I'll run out of words." ChanYeol sighed.
"Now, what have you done to try to get the information about the fabric Kontia?" GaHye asked.
"My assistant has a textile and fashion background. She has connections to the people in the industry too. The information I have now is all from her. That's it. The fabric is so new that people don't know much about it yet." ChanYeol recalled.
"What else did you do?" GaHye wrote down all the things ChanYeol said.
"I've been searching through the internet, but hardly found anything there." ChanYeol was frustrated.
"It's possible that you weren't searching at the correct websites. That's common with the internet, you know. Its information overloaded and often mislead you to the wrong directions." GaHye analysed.
ChanYeol nodded, "I think so too, but what can I do?"
"Let me think." GaHye fell in deep thoughts, "I remember my university professor...he seems to have a cousin or something...who's a purchaser at a textile manufacturer. Yes, the professor was telling us about his cousin's stories working with the fashion in Paris. Yes, that's right! I believe his cousin should know about the Kontia fabric."
"Seems so remote...your profession's relative? Do you still keep in touch with your professor? Is he willing to help?" ChanYeol was paranoid.
"Professor Wright is a very nice and humorous man. We still keep in touch after I came to Seoul. I'm sure he will help, if he can do so. I will call him first, and see if he can connect us to his cousin." GaHye went to the file cabinet with her personal stuffs. She found the professor's phone number at the school office and made a long distance call immediately, "Hope he's still in school and not on education tours to some other places. He always does." She said to ChanYeol when she dialled the number.
ChanYeol waited.
GaHye reached the voice mail and left a message to Professor Wright, briefly explaining to him what was happening. She hung up and crossed her fingers that he will return her call soon.
They had the luck. Ten minutes later, the phone rung and it was Professor Wright. After some courtesy greetings, GaHye went straight into explaining ChanYeol's problems to him. Professor Wright was very nice and generous. He told GaHye that he would contact his cousin.
