 "Hm." ChanYeol stared at GaHye.

GaHye found her godparents looking amazed. She decided to break the ice. She stood up, "Let me introduce. Godmother and godfather, this is ChanYeol."

"Nice to meet you, ChanYeol!" The couple smiled.

"Hi." ChanYeol mumbled to them. His eyes went back to GaHye.

"It's good that you finally make it to dinner! Have a seat!" They welcomed him warmly, "Wow. What a good-looking guy! Such a perfect match with GaHye..."

ChanYeol did not respond. GaHye had to fill the gap. She said coldly, "I thought you aren't coming."

"But you are here." ChanYeol answered.

"You don't have to join if you are so reluctant to do so." GaHye still had a dull face.

"I never said I am not coming. I was just looking for a gift." ChanYeol finally turned to Mr. and Mrs. Kang, "Sorry for being late. Here's a bottle of wine for you two. Hope you will like it...hm...godmother and godfather."

The corners of GaHye's lips curved up as she heard that.

"Oh, thanks a lot, ChanYeol! We greatly appreciate it!" The couple happily received the gift.

"Happy now?" ChanYeol held GaHye's waist lightly.

"I'm always happy." She bursted out a chuckle.

"Alright everyone is here! Let's start dinner. ChanYeol, how about if we try your wine?" Mr. Kang laughed and arranged. The server started serving the food.

"Help yourself!" Mrs. Kang smiled.

"Oh...yes sure...thanks..." ChanYeol looked at the plates that are not as pure white as he usually saw at the luxury restaurants. He picked up his chopsticks which were clean but still felt a little greasy, in his perspective. He uttered beside GaHye's ear, "GaHye."

At this time, Mr. Kang was so excited and scooped up some chicken. He offered to ChanYeol's plate, "Have more!"

"Hm...thanks." ChanYeol had to take them.

"And this one too! Wow, the best of the whole chicken!" Mr. Kang picked up the chicken head and dumped it on ChanYeol's plate.

"Haha, I always...get approval from my wife on eating anything, because she controls my diet." ChanYeol made a sly excuse.

He looked at GaHye for help. She gave him a naughty grin in return, "That chicken head is nutritious and tasty. Eat it."

"Yes...my majesty..." ChanYeol reluctantly bit on it. GaHye could not hold on and laughed out loud.

Their godparents also laughed, "What a sweet little couple..."

The dinner went on happily. ChanYeol whispered to GaHye's ear once in a while, and she chuckled sweetly back at him. He seemed to tell her a joke, and she curled her lips and softly hit his arm to complain.

Poor SeHun was the only one being left out. Originally, GaHye was covered by SeHun's coat. Somehow, maybe while GaHye was playing around with ChanYeol, the coat steadily fell off to the ground. GaHye did not even notice it. She could only see ChanYeol in her eyes. With him on the side, her body was filled with warmth and sweetness.

SeHun picked up the coat and put it at the back of GaHye's chair, hoping that she will notice it, hoping that she will need it sometime.

Midnight

"ChanYeol, tell me why you changed your mind and ended up coming." GaHye still had that question in her mind.

"I've said it. It's because you wanted to go, and you wanted me to go." He kept his same answer.
