Chapter 23 - Good to Go

"Everything's ok?" ChanYeol caringly asked GaHye as she and Mrs. Park entered the house.

"Hm." GaHye bit her lips and sat by his side. ChanYeol peeked at his mother to check out the expression of her face.

"GaHye's done the body-check." Mrs. Park said.

ChanYeol waited for the answer.

"She's doing fine....very healthy! Doctor said she's ready to get pregnant any time." Mrs. Park titled her head, "That's weird. GaHye, why were you so scared of going for the body check at first?"

GaHye looked at ChanYeol for help. Instantly, he said, "Eooma, GaHye is just shy. You know she doesn't feel comfortable talking about 'those things'."

"What do you mean about 'those things'? Getting pregnant is a normal thing for women...nothing to be shy about." Mrs. Park was satisfied with GaHye's result, "Now you two should start planning."

"Alright alright, mum. We will work hard on it." ChanYeol laughed.

Mrs. Park set them free and walked upstairs. She suddenly remembered and wanted to tell GaHye about the sale at the department store. She turned around and saw ChanYeol and GaHye whispering and giggling at each other. GaHye hit ChanYeol's arm and chased after him. Mrs. Park smiled and decided to leave the sweet couple alone.

YooRa finally graduated from university and got a degree in Dentistry. The entire Park's family made a short trip to Canada and attended her graduation. It was indeed a very short trip, because the next day after the graduation, YooRa flew off to Mexico for her Caribbean cruise already. Her family returned to Seoul afterwards. ChanYeol and GaHye stayed behind for a few days and enjoyed a relaxing holiday, as their belated honeymoon. They soaked in their own world. The little couple went hiking, camping, sailing, golfing...you name it all.

Two weeks later

"Whew! Home sweet home!" YooRa ran into the house and greeted everyone happily.

"Hi YooRa. Welcome home!" GaHye smiled and walked out from the kitchen, "Are you tired? Here, have this honey drink."

"Ah. Thanks GaHye! You're great!" YooRa gave her a big hug, "Come on. I've got some souvenir for you. Let's go upstairs to my room. Hey, you should sleep over with me and I tell you what happened on the cruise tonight..."

"Ahem. Can I object that you're stealing my lovely wife?" ChanYeol complained.

YooRa made a face at him, "It's a girls talk. None of your business." She pulled GaHye upstairs. GaHye turned around and bursted a giggle at ChanYeol.

"The weather is getting warm. It's time to put away the winter clothes." GaHye said as she stood in front of the bedroom closet.

"Leave that to the servants, GaHye." ChanYeol lied flat on the bed and looked at her.

"It's almost summer time! Please get rid of your winter clothes and put them to the closet in the storage room!" GaHye softly commanded.

"Don't want to move." He mumbled.

"You're getting lazy. Why?" GaHye bent over and touched his face.

"Alright, I'll do it. But I want a kiss first." He dragged her down. He spun her underneath him and caressed her lips.

After the long kiss, GaHye slightly pushed him away. She smiled and tapped his face, "Happy now?" She pulled him up the bed.

ChanYeol chuckled sweetly and went to the closet.

"Now let's take care of your jackets and coats first." GaHye started sorting, "...these ones you haven't worn can be put away. These ones, I recognize you've worn them a few times, they need to go to the dry cleaners and then..."
