In Switzerland
ChanYeol and JiEun sat in the tour bus. It was early morning and most tourists on the bus were only half awake. The rocking ride put a lot of people to sleep. ChanYeol began to doze after a while. JiEun kept peeking out the window with curiosity to check out the things in Switzerland. Soon, the bus left the city and headed towards the rural areas.
"Cows! There are cows, ChanYeol! Look!" She happily tapped ChanYeol.
"Alright, wave and say hi to them." ChanYeol mumbled.
"ChanYeol, What does snow look like?" JiEun asked, "And how does it feel like? Is it white and soft...mushy mushy?"
"Hm, you'll find out when you get there." ChanYeol did not know how to describe it to her.
JiEun quieted down and leaned on ChanYeol's shoulder. He shifted his body and wrapped his arm around her. He peeped outside the windows.
"This is my first time travelling with you." JiEun said.
ChanYeol was curious, "How about your ex's? Did you ever travel with them?"
JiEun bit her lips, "Don't even mention them. They were both crappy."
ChanYeol did not ask further.
She mumbled and held him tightly, "You're the best out of the three."
They approached the ski resort. The scenery outside the windows began to change. More and more white spots covered the ground.
"Is that snow on the ground?" JiEun pointed.
"Yes that's snow." ChanYeol smiled.
"Wow." Her eyes stayed still. The bus made a turn and a huge snowy mountain appeared in front of them.
Her eyes opened widely and felt totally amazed. Soon, the bus arrived at the terminal. They got off the bus.
"Be careful!" ChanYeol grasped her arm as she almost fell, "It's slippery."
"Haha. Haha." JiEun glided on the icy snow and laughed.
They took the luggage to the hotel and got ready to ski.
"JiEun, are you ready yet?" He called as he walked out of the bathroom. He saw her look and screamed, "What is this called?!"
She wore a super thick ski jacket and pants, and wrapped her whole head with big scarf and hood that covered her face as well. She looked like a bulky ball. "This is a full skiing set. That's what the sales guy in Bern told me." She murmured and blinked. Her eyes were the only parts exposed.
"He lied and just wanted to sell you everything, obviously seeing that you have money but no brain." ChanYeol rolled his eyes up, "You don't need to put on all these warmies! You look like you're ready to move to Arctic Ocean and live with the Eskimos now."
She curled her lips. She really did not know and had to trust everything the sales guy said.
"Forget it then. Just wear this for now. If you have hyperthermia, go to the souvenir shop and buy some other clothes tonight." ChanYeol soothed, "Let's go out and grab a quick lunch. Then we need to rent the ski equipment."
The coach arrived at the practice ground and began to teach JiEun. ChanYeol wanted to go skiing at the upper tracks on his own.
"No. Stay here with me for a little while." JiEun begged. ChanYeol softened his heart and stayed behind at this practice ground.
JiEun tried hard fiddling with her skis. Even with the instructions of the coach, she still cannot manage the basics. Soon, ChanYeol lost his patience on watching her falling and struggling.
