ChanYeol made up his mind, "GaHye, I am...checking out the new stocks at the warehouse now. Could you please record it for me? You can watch it first."
GaHye was disappointed, "Ok then. I will record it and watch it with you later. Don't work too late. Hm, bye for now."
"Go to bed first. Don't wait for me." ChanYeol said softly.
"Then...goodnight." GaHye whispered. It was going to be another long and lonely night for her.
He sighed and felt bad for his lie to GaHye, yet he did not want to leave JiEun by herself at this moment.
JiEun was happy to hear he was staying. She paced to the bathroom, "Let me prepare the hot tub for you. Your pyjamas are in the dryer. I will take it out."
"JiEun." He called to the bathroom, "Do you like Maya culture? Let's watch the show on TV."
"What is ma-ya? Sounds Japanese. Is it a street culture there? Any nice clothes?" JiEun was naive.
"Nothing. Forget it." ChanYeol obviously could not explain such educated topic to JiEun. She would not understand and have any interest anyway. The gap between them was too big.
JiEun uttered restlessly and abruptly opened her eyes. She shivered and breathed heavily. She just had from a nightmare.
"Hm?" ChanYeol got waken up by her.
"Nightmare." JiEun heaved. She was used to having strange dreams and nightmares in her sleep, ever since she was small.
"Silly." ChanYeol rolled over and hugged her, "Go back to sleep."
His deep and soft voice calmed her down. She rested in his hug, feeling a sense of security that she never had in her life. She steadily fell asleep, a comfort and sound sleep that she had been yearning for.

"ChanYeol?" GaHye was surprised to see him waiting for her at her school office."Hey!" ChanYeol greeted, "Classes are over for today?"
"Yup." She peeped at him with curiosity.
"Alright, let's pack up and go. Got surprise for you." He picked up her hand.
She quickly packed up and followed him, "Where are we going?"
He smiled mysteriously, then stuffed something to her palm.
She looked at it, "Wow! This is a very famous ballet team from Russia...playing Swan Lake at Cultural Center!"
"I thought you'd like it!" ChanYeol smiled, "It took me an hour this morning to line up for the tickets!"
"Thanks ChanYeol." She felt sweet.
"Hm, you'll have to be the commentary to my side, to explain to me what's going on during the show." ChanYeol tilted his head.
"Sure." GaHye agreed.
"And just wondering..." ChanYeol whispered, "Do they sell popcorn there? It's more fun to watch and munch at the same time."
GaHye giggled.
"What are you laughing at?" ChanYeol shook her hand, "I am serious..."

Days seemed to pass by as usual, but turbulences quietly arose.ChanYeol sat across from his mother at the café. The atmosphere appeared abnormally tense. "Mum, what would you like to have?" He whispered uneasily. With busy work and whatever other reasons, ChanYeol had not been having lunches with his mother alone for a long time. Therefore when she came to his office and asked him to go out, he felt surprised and strange.
