Constellations

Simple

It was easy, simple, no brainer.

To free another planet, become allies. Easy, simple, no brainer right?

But the galra found them before they could succeed.

"Get to the pod!" Shiro screamed as they all watched galra ships cover the skies. The lions where still in the castle while the castle was still in the atmosphere. Explosions and gun fire echoed the air.

"What about the citizens?!" Hunk asked as a child was clinging onto him, the species where called rota's as they where inslaved to their home planet called Rotazik.

Rotazik was the most similar to earth but also reminded them of the balmera, it was dry like a canyon but also had large amounts of water that went trough the whole planet but the gravity keeps the water in, but it was such a large planet that it would take weeks to swim to the other side of the planet.

The residents where pale colors of blue, red, yellow, or green with either black or brown hair and bright purple eyes or bright white that where solid.

"We need to take care of the galra!" Keith told him as the ground shook from the ships attacking.

"Hunk we can't save them if we can't defend them," Pidge told him.

"Please don't leave!" A little boy with pale green skin and brown soft hair with glowing purple eyes cried out with tears running down his face.

"Hey it's going to be okay," Lance ran to him with a gentle smile but held the boys head close as another explosion almost hit them but was far enough it shook the planet.

"No it's not!" The boy sobbed holding onto Lance in fear.

"Lance we need to go!" Keith called to him frustrated, they needed Voltron.

"Keith shut up for a second! Get to the pod!" Lance called to the others as hunk quickly got over to them.

"I know it seems scary right now but soon there's going to be lions flying to protect all of you, and when you see lions that means Voltron is going to be there, Voltron will protect you and the universe from the galra, I promise," Lance looked at the little boy and smiled wiping away a tear.

"Really?" The boy sniffled looking at Lance.

"For realzies," Lance smirked.

"Go find your friends and family, find shelter," Lance told him and the boy nodded and ran off quickly.

"Lance!" Shiro called as he looked at the sky noticing the ships weren't firing as much as before.

"Guys!" Pidge pointed as larger ships where landing and soldiers poured out of them and opened fire immediately.

"Shiro what's the plan?" Keith asked quickly as Lance ran over.

"I don't know, we can't fight from the air if we're down here fighting those," Shiro motioned to the soldiers attacking.

"But we can't stop the ships up there if we're down here," he growled slightly.

"What if we split up? Hunk, Shiro and Pidge go take the skies and Lance and I will stay down here and defend," Keith offered glaring over his shoulder.
