Lotor walked out of the meeting as some followed as he gave orders to soldiers simply as the Paladins followed as well.
"Best meeting ever," Pidge smirked as she loved how there was violence in it and more than just some lame power point.
"Prince Lotor you walked off with my paladin before, where is lance?" Allura walked up to Lotor raising an eye brow.
"He is in a private quarter of the ship, hopefully it kept him entertained," Lotor stated and hid his smile knowing lance was enjoying himself from his tragedy.
Pidge and hunk looked at each other smirking.
"I'll come to help," Allura nodded as the group parted and Lotor went to the quarters he left lance with.
"That's not necessary princess," Lotor said waving her off and Allura fell behind as Lotor kept walking as he didn't notice her disappointment.
But she followed anyways.
Is he hiding something? Allura raised an eye brow as she followed quietly behind the prince. Lotor turned a corner to a door with a scanner as he pressed his hand against it and a prick of his blood was drawn to unlock the door. Allura couldn't see anything before the door closed behind him.
"How was your time?" Lotor smiled seeing lance laying on the fountains ledge as he swirled his fingers smiling looking around. He sat up seeing Lotor.
"Dude this is so great," Lance beamed brightly.
"But it's time to go isn't it..." he gulped a little as his smile slowly dropped.
"It is, but I'd appreciate it if we kept this secret between the two of us, my generals don't know and I rather not have your team know either," Lotor sat with him with a soft yet serious expression.
"But I could get my worth back, I could start training to be a paladin again," Lance looked at him wide eyes.
"I know, but wait until I have more work to do on it, I rather let them know if it's successful than just a theory, I'm sorry but it's important to me," Lotor held his hand gently as lance looked at him but nodded agreeing.
"Only if you keep me updated," lance sighed.
"As you wish," Lotor smiled relieved.
"Do I have to go?" Lance whined.
"I'm afraid so little soldier," Lotor chuckled and lance took a deep breath as he leaned his head back letting another sigh escape.
"Okay, let's go," Lance looked at him with a sad feature and pursed lips. Lotor stood with him as lances fingers left the fountain. Lance swallowed a lump in his throat watching the world fade from his vision into blackness as Lotor felt guilt seeing the pale blue again. He knew lance hated this but he couldn't stay forever.
"Are you alright?" Lotor asked as he lead lance.
"As alright as I'm going to be, but a little better though," the Cuban smirked softly as they left the room.
"Your welcome to my ship any time if you'd like, for those scientific purposes but for company as well," Lotor gulped a little awkwardly as lance raised an eye brow.
"Really? That's awesome, thanks lo," lance giggled hanging onto Lotors arm as they finally got back to the throne room where the Paladins chatted and the generals minded their own business.
"Hey lance where you been? You missed the meeting," Keith smiled at him gently.
"Um just around, exploring and stuff," Lance shrugged as he felt like exploding. He wanted to tell them but he wouldn't, he could keep a secret.
"Well i enjoyed the company lance, hope to see you around," Lotor smiled leading him to his group and lance let go smiling.
"Yea I'll definitely see you around," lance teased and Lotor chuckled.
"We'll discuss further matters back on the castle, and speak tomorrow," Allura nodded as she looked at Lotor. The prince agreed.
"So you going to fill me in?" Lance asked as they started to exit the galra ship.
"Wait paladin," Lotor called and they all looked back at him. Lance felt something slide into his hand and felt lotors large hands clasped around his.
"Hopefully this will make things easier," Lotor smiled softly and let go as lance felt some devise in his hands and smiled back at Lotor.
"Well I guess I'll figure that out," lance giggled. "Thank you for everything,"
"Of course, little soldier," Lotor smirked as he saw his generals entering the room and he backed away.
"Come on I wanna know what all happened," Lance shook hunk excitedly as they left the ship.
"You seem chippier," Keith raised an eye brow at him.
"Yea did lotor drug you or something?" Pidge snorted.
"Hmmm nope," lance held onto his best friend with his hand in his own pocket, fumbling with the device Lotor gave him as it felt like elegant metal and glass with engraved marks along it.
He wondered what it might do?
Allura watched from behind as she saw lance with his hand in his pocket as him and the paladins chatted. She saw lance was in some sort of room. And now he is happy, excited.
Normal again...
She couldn't help but glance at Lotor and looked at lance confused of what they possibly could've bonded over in the few hours they spent together as lance was even left alone for most of it. She just couldn't connect the dots.
